I imagine this’ll get announced as 3 Wembley dates, 2 Manchester and then after those sell out they’ll “add” more and then announce the Glasgows, Dublins, etc if they have them.
I don’t see White Stripes happening in any major capacity. Maybe a small show or two but that’s it.
I've always imagined they play one of their old Detroit dive bar haunts in front of like 20 people just for kicks. But even that seems highly improbable.
Those Oasis dates have a less chance of being real than a Talking Heads, Cocteau Twins and Daft Punk triple headline tour lol
Theyre fake because Rebelution isnt support.
Theres another fake tour date thing which conveniently puts them on either side of Glastonbury. But they missed that Dua Lipa jas some Wembley dates already booked and sold out for that matter. And Kevin Parker as a dj opener lol
If Oasis has those humongous football stadiums booked in the U.S., then they've lost their minds, even in their heyday their biggest headline gigs were the summer amphitheaters and scattered single arena shows in the U.S. If they do just keep it to LA, NY and Chicago, then maaybe baseball stadiums but I'm not convinced the nostalgia factor will get them there. Unless they are partnering with another major band (hmm).
The Wembley blocks may be multiple other artists (artistes? Lol.) I know U2 has venue blocks for next year all over the place although they might not be ready then.
11/28 Raveonettes (Copenhagen, Denmark) 12/4 Interpol 12/14 LCD Soundsystem 12/31 Billy Joel 2/25 Father John Misty 4/10 Franz Ferdinand 4/17 Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds 5/15 Amyl & the Sniffers 5/18 Fontaines D.C. 9/1 Oasis

Let's just get every massive UK act whose tours sell like piss on American soil (Kasabian, Biffy Clyro, Manic Street Preachers, hell throw Elbow in there too for some Manchester pride) and throw them into one Oasis package tour that will still underachieve sales-wise, but make some Brits very envious.
Tons of great younger UK bands to choose from for openers. Yard Act, Idles, Fontaines, Squid, Wet Leg, Dry Cleaning, etc.
That would be awesome personally but I don't think that clears up the "can they sell out a stadium" debate.
Probably two more 90s bands and one new band, like the Saviors tour. Yard Act I could see in the Linda Lindas spot, I know they are big fans, they did an all Oasis playlist when they were Artist in Residence on BBC6
Maybe New Order or Depeche Mode in the Smashing Pumpkins spot? An 80s-90s Brit combo might move tickets with Gen X and Millennials

Theyre gonna get the same shit over there anyway so it wont even matter. We're gonna end up with Kaiser Chiefs, Maximo Park and The Pigeon Detectives watch.

Depeche Mode doesnt bow down to anyone. Ans theyre not on a touring cycle.
