Holy sh*t!: Members of My Morning Jacket, Son Volt and More Unite For Woody Guthrie Tribute Album, Tour Will Johnson (Centro-matic, South San Gabriel), Jay Farrar (Son Volt, Gob Iron, Uncle Tupelo), Yim Yames (My Morning Jacket, Monsters of Folk), and Anders Parker (Varnaline, Gob Iron) have announced they will tour in support of their album New Multitudes this upcoming spring. The album is a Woody Guthrie tribute, which will be released the album on Feb. 28 via Rounder Records to coincide with Guthrie’s 100th birthday celebration.

Oh hells, I almost forgot to put this up here. A rep of the Pilot Light emailed me back and informed me that they will probably being doing advance ticketing for the Zola Jesus show (which they hardly ever do). He said they would email me again when their plans get finalized.

The New York Hall of Science is a children's museum at the old World's Fair site in Queens, quite the interesting choice of venue
The Museum shows, they are aparently opening their doors two hours early so concertgoers can play in the giant all ages science playground, rocket park, etc etc etc... see ya'll there my birthday weekend, I HOPE!!!
*edit GRRRRRR, 6 museum shows went on sale @ 10AM sharp, and 6 shows were sold out at 10AM quacking sharp
It's a "residency" isn't it?
If these shows sold so well, I'm sure there will be more
