I hope Friday is metal day. Last year friday was the best day of music i've ever experienced. Opeth into MMJ into Arcade Fire? yes fucking please. The metal during the day was really nice contrast to the evening
I was just wondering if I had missed something... I think RHCP might end up playing LN What on Friday night so that Atoms for Peace can play on Saturday. I realllllllly want AFP to happen
AFP would still bill under the RHCP.
I know. I meant so that AFP could play pre-HL or LN in a tent or on Which Stage.
Radiohead was a pipe dream that we all felt wasn't happening, and people spent 3 months stomping out RHCP's carcass trying to generate enough karma to keep them away.

Well I don't want to get all emotional on yall, but this is my first time in a long time closely monitoring the impending bonnaroo lineup, and it has been so much fun following this thread and the rest of the forum. Thanks to everyone who participates in this madness, it really has given me hours upon hours of joy.
Looking forward to meeting some of you in the future. There will be lots of high fives after that initial moment of weirdness when you meet someone from the Internet.
I'm gonna write a movie based on Inforoo next year. It'll come out on Valentine's Day and be titled "For the Love of Insider". VIP tickets come with a pre-access code to the lineup and a personalized quote from insider to you.

while everyone wants to spend time waiting for the lineup tomorrow how about you all answer a question i have but dont want to look up the answer to. what songs do superjams play like is it a jam, or the artists songs or covers

This thread may have very well been the difference between me getting into my number #1 university. I got all high 80s on my exams and probably could have got some 90s. No regrets

First, define a "jam."
I believe usually they cover other artists.
I didn't make it to the SuperJam last year with Dr. John, Dan Auerbach, Patrick Hallahan, Preservation Hall and Brian Olive, so I couldn't tell you what they played.
In 2008, Kirk Hammett, Les Claypool, Eugene Hutz and some others covered Tom Waits.
2007 was John Paul Jones, Ben Harper, Questlove and Kirk Franklin covering all Led Zeppelin and one Stevie Wonder song.
