I'm glad we all skipped over the suggestion of Bruce Springsteen returning to the farm. I really hope that doesn't happen. Phish returning, AND the Boss? Just fucking shoot me now.

I just did something i absolutely did not have to at all. I did it because 1.) Im in the very small demographic that wants to see them there, im honestly very fucking excited about cuz iv never seen them live. phish either. and 2.) this puts those conversations to rest. U now know 2 headliners. may every headliner conversation until lineup drop consist of radiohead(i personally believe they will be there)/macca/prince. im going to sound tribe, much love yall.
I believe him and even if he is lying we are probably still getting RHCP. Now the question is: Are they top billed? If we still get a big name like radiohead, Macca, or prince then I think Roo's HL are stronger than Coach's. At least for my musical taste

i don't see why we feel the need to constantly compare bonnaroo and coachella. as someone who lives in tennessee, i don't give a shit about coachella because it's far too impractical, expensive, and just out of the way for me to even think about. not like the atmosphere at a festival like coach even compares to the real festival experience that bonnaroo has to offer. sorry to rant, i just don't think coach is that big of a deal. roo usually has better headliners in my opinion anyway

It's a legit confirmation. We should be cynical but just never believing anyone regardless of the evidence they provide makes one of the primary points of this board useless. I'm not jumping up and down with RHCP and Phish as the only two confirmed headliners but it's not a mess either. They still have the opportunity to pull of something pretty amazing. I'm guessing they will.
I really hope they aren't #1 but my gut is telling me yes
My gut is telling me they are not, but maybe my gut is just hopeful. If insider could tell us if Foo Fighters is gonna be on the farm I think it would clear up if they are top billed or not.

How is Bonnaroo more of a "real festival experience" than Coachella, do tell? Last time I checked, the #1 festival in the US was, in fact, Coachella. I live in Tennessee too, and I give infinite amounts of shit about Coachella. For one, I'm usually envious of the line-up, and two, it gives you an idea of who could be at Bonnaroo.
It sounds like you're trying to make it seem like Bonnaroo is a TRUE festival, whatever that means, and Coachella is just some weekend camping trip with a few bands or something. Talk about close minded, damn.
Coachella almost always blows the 'Roo line-up out of the water, sorry guys. And I'm a Bonnaroo guy until I die, but it's just the facts. They get the bigger headliners, the reunions, etc. What do we get?
SMH at the lack of a hip-hop headliner. C'mon, you know it's going to be:
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Phish - "Rap Headliner Here" - then some other poop.
I see you edited in the Roots, and that's almost definitely NOT going to be the hip-hop headliner. I'm sure they'd follow up with the Roots or an act much smaller the year after they had one of the biggest names in hip-hop perform.

Insider please just put us out of our misery and tell us Radiohead's not gonna be there. I need to be move on with my life and actually accomplish stuff.
