Can I assume that this upgrade, being different from having bought regular VIP pairs, will not lead to entry issues once you get there? As in, do you think these upgrades will be in the form of the new electronic bracelets that come as part of the regular VIP?

I was wondering the same thing. My girlfriend bought her VIP ticket that way to join my buddy and I, she has also received her GA wristband but has not gotten her upgrade package.
I wonder if this will come in the form of a second electronic wristband? I really do not want to start, or have any part of, my 2011 experience with a hassle
I just spoke with a Sam at Target Sport Adventures. He said that upgrades that were purchased separately (I thought an upgrade by definition was separate) would be shipped out beginning today. A voucher will be sent out and the way it works is that you meet Sam at the Target Sport Adventures desk at baggage claim in the Nashville Airport on Thursday June the 9th. He will then swap your GA wrist bands for VIP wristbands and then you are off.
I was counting on having everything shipped but I suppose a night out in Nashville on Wednesday night will be fun.
ok i talked to a Randy over there... he informed me that there is no email going out beyond the initial reciept and there is NOTHING GETTING MAILED FOR THE UPGRADE. you are to do the trade in either at the airport or the howard johnsons express in murfeesborough. the address is 2424 S Church St, Murfreesboro, TN 37127. i told him that there may be a bunch of people that are not actually flying there and will need to trade in their GA wristbands for VIP ones. i would suggest people call if they are not using the shuttle or hotel package and let them know.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

the upgrade page says that they are no longer available for purchase online...is that bc ticket sales went down & the link to puchase will be back up on saturday with the regular tickets? do i have to order from the phone number? or does this mean that they are sold out?
I lucked my way into a VIP ticket last year with a friend of mine but am having to go VIP solo this year. while i mainly camped in GA i used the VIP amenities daily & would love to have them again.

yeah, I'm going solo again so will be in the same boat. Last year I dealt w/the same folks sound like at Target Sports and things went smooth. I'll be flying in and hauling my gear in again, taking the shuttle provided by the same folks. But let me know if it would be easier to split a VIP regular package? Patrick

so those of you who have done this before, how easy is the process? i have a VIP ticket with my friend and i, but my other friend also wants to come VIP and has no one to split it with. i sent her this thread and she thinks it's going to be more hassle than it's worth(she's a first timer, so she obviously doesn't understand that yes, it is worth it! )...help me convince her that this won't be a pain!
also, wrong thread, but i can't seem to find the right one anywhere: if anyone does want to split a VIP ticket/knows someone who does, PM me!
Hello all:) I have a single VIP ticket available. I'll sell it below the actual cost just to get rid of it. Message me if you you're interested. Thanks!
If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your own estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment.
