They said during the announcement on 92ZEW that this was only the first set of bands being announced, so I'd assume that meant we'll be getting even more!!
This is going to be an AMAZING fest! The organizers definitely played it smart by having a few established festival bands that bring in a crowd that is willing to travel to hear/see their live shows. Very nice.
Id offer to do it but Im not the OP, creating a new thread is just annoying everyone else, and if we do it on another page in this thread its going to get lost and in my drunken excitement to look at the schedule Im going to get so frustrated I cant find it Ill probably break something.
Does anybody know how the schedule works? I know headliners get like two hours, but I love the top 6 acts, but I'm scared to buy a ticket, because they might have the Flaming Lips playing opposite of Paul Simon which are two big reasons I wanna go, does anybody know if they do that or if they have one big act before the next like the Lips into Paul Simon at the same stage?

Last year there was nobody else playing at the same time as the headliners, but they also only had 4 stages. Still, I'm guessing there will still only be two stages on the beach, and since they face each other, it's doubtful there will be overlap. If I remember correctly, you could hear each stage from the other side of the beach. It's doubtful any of the top 6 will play against each other.
"We have 2 sets here, one in the afternoon, and one late night, details to follow, stay tuned"
i think they did this with girl talk last year. they will probably be playing in the hangout restaurant late night. i bet girl talk and pretty lights will do the same.
We are amazed by your support of Hangout - $159 tickets have already sold-out!! As a thank you to all our loyal fans, we are going to extend this special price until 12 pm EST / 11 am CST.
Xavier Rudd is on Saturday at 130 according to their website
Drive-By Truckers on Sunday according to FB. It actually seems to be gone now, but I definitely saw a post this morning that said they are playing on Sunday

I think it's safe to assume this is going to sell out since the allotted $159 tickets disappeared in less than 2 hours. The cynical view would be to say those tickets were extremely limited to by design, either out of stinginess or strategy (the appearance of tickets going quickly might light a fire under the asses of some stragglers). They seemed genuinely surprised by how fast the tickets went, though, and made arrangements for everyone who bought before noon to get the cheaper price, even though the $159 tickets were gone by like 10:45.
It makes sense that tickets are going quicker this year. The lineup is just deeper, with more bands that people are going to travel to see. Last year's lineup skewed a little older - I can't imagine a lot of Zac Brown, John Legend or Allsion Krauss fans
