Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'll put this out there.... do you think bands like Muse and AF (and basically any group that has yet to perform) WANT to play Bonnaroo?
I mean in the sense that since they have yet to play there, do you think that they look at performing at Bonnaroo as something to accomplish during their music careers? Or do you think they look at it as just another show, a notch in the belt, so to say.
I've read from the moderator of the AF board that AF have been interested in playing Roo for years now, it's just never worked out.
That has to be one of the funniest things I have read on the internet. I think the best comment posted though was the kid who said " your also gonna have to tell your fiances parents how much of a wiener you are"

Perfectly reasonable guesses, natedogg. And it's definitely a lineup to get excited about. Latenight Massive Attack into Vampire Weekend would be awesome. Good call on The Decemberists closing out Which Stage.

has anyone considered CSNY as the saturday HL? i could see the top 10 looking something like:
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - Saturday HL The Killers/Muse/The White Stripes/Arcade Fire (don't think so) - Friday HL Widespread Panic (More likely)/Furthur - Sunday HL My Morning Jacket - LN what Saturday Massive Attack - LN which Friday The Strokes - which closer Sunday Queens of the Stone Age - Pre-HL Saturday Primus - which closer Friday Robert Plant & Band of Joy - Pre-HL Sunday Ben Harper & Relentless7 - Pre-HL Friday

haven't really thought of csny as a headliner, especially the big saturday headliner. could live with the rest of those in the top 10, as long as arcade fire was in there.

I would put CSNY on Stevie's level. But thats just me.

yeah but Mumford and Sons is the breakout act of the year they wont be a headliner but they will definitely be a preheadliner. Phoenix blew up like this 2 years ago, now its mumford that is enjoying that rapid success.
I think the Black Keys have picked up way more popularity than Mumford this year. Mumford's costumes are rediculous.
Black Keys have had more songs in commercials (though little lion man is everywhere now) but as far as mainstream listeners, Mumfords are more recognizable based on my experiences. It's crazy how much the teenage girl crowd latched onto Mumford.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

I think Nate's schedule looks pretty damn plausible, except for the fact that we have no idea who will be headlining Saturday night. There are a few things I'm not so sure about, like Cee-Lo's placement, but overall it looks good. The only conflict I saw on first glance was Explosions in the Sky vs. Massive Attack.

This looks pretty damn realistic, I think it is a good way of thinking about the lineup. I'm fine with CSNY, definitely some I would like instead, but at this point, I think it would be great.

back to a real discussion...
I agree that CSNY is on Stevie's level in terms of both time slot and lineup position, which also depends on who else is at the top. They're definitely a top 4 act, probably ahead of someone like Arcade Fire
