I fell back into Skyrim again, oops. Playing a conjuration character for the first time and this mf is BROKEN
i like a little challenge coming up, but ultimately i want to be a complete unstoppable badass. i'm still playing the Tempus Maledictum mod pack, and most recently wrapped up my nord 1H true dragonborn playthrough. she was a true master of the voice. TM includes some shout mods, so i got to the point where my shouts had no cooldown and furthermore Ordinator has perks in the speech tree that increase the power of shouts, so i didn't even have my sword out at the end, i just use my flame breath shout and walked through dungeons just fuckin' melting anybody that got in my way.
so she was generally a pretty "good" character, so it was time to play a real piece of shit. my current character is an altmer vampire pure mage, destruction/illusion, just breaking into people's houses and drinking their blood until they die so i can get new vampire powers. and hell yeah i'm the archmage i needed those robes. going to take this one at least to the end of the LotD quest line, then maybe finally complete the Dragonborn DLC which i'm managed to not complete despite playing this game since launch.

My girlfriend has been playing Hogwarts Legacy, it's her first large scale open world game and she's loving it. Very well made game, with a couple slight scuffs around an edge or two. Check out the AngryJoe review on YouTube it's pretty dang funny.
I've been playing Metroid Prime Remaster and as a first timer to this game it's been fantastic. Recently got screwed over by save points being out of the way after boss battles, ended up losing progress on the giant rock boss which was actually more harrowing and difficult than I expected. Definitely enjoying my time. The fact that boss battles aren't always 3 phases and you're finished is so good I wish more games did this.

My gf also is playing this game while I’ve been playing new Mario Rabbids game. She’s never played an open world game or anything other than Mario games but she’s loving it. It’s funny to watch somebody who’s never gamed before get sucked in for hours. I’ll have to check out Metroid Prime at some point. I’ve heard they are hard but fun.
Mine's also playing Hogwarts. I probably got like 4-5 hours in. Got a broom and flew around fighting baddies. I fell off pretty hard after that though.

I'm now up to about 70 hours in Power Wash Simulator, those Final Fantasy levels were enough of a drip of content to have me just doing the whole thing again to get all the achievements
I did play Ass Creed Valhalla. It was the most sprawling fucking mess of a game, even by that series’ standards.
This is correct. It's a massive world with tons of content, and I really didn't care at all about it. Finished the story just so I would never feel the urge to play it again.

I kept playing long past it being addictive because I just had to know how pointless the 27 endings would be. Like it’s really amazing how long it drags out with useless shit.
Fiddling with as many sidequests as possible because I'm getting very close to the end of the Ragnarok campaign. After that, Ghost of Tsushima.
youre in for a treat, Ghost can get a lil repetitive at times but the combat, world and characters are just amazing. the environments are just gorgeous

Ghosts was such an awesome play through. One of the prettiest games I’ve played on ps5. I played GOW 2018 but still need to get the newest one.
Have you played returnal ? I want to honestly play it again. Awesome game

hardest playthrough I've done was unarmed lizard person fire breath only. Yoshi style.

SupeЯfuЯЯyanimal pushed me over the edge on getting Disco Elysium. Putting off actually starting it though bc I feel like I'll drop into a huge time sink as soon as I do.

You will. I am horrendous at starting RPGs because I will spec and respec during character creation, making myself crazy trying to explore all the various combinations of stats I can put together.
Disco Elysium’s RP system is so interesting that it took me literally three days to settle on what kind of character I wanted to play enough to start the game proper.
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?
UPCOMING SHOWS 11/18 - Slowdive @ Brooklyn Paramount 11/21 - Caribou @ Avant Gardner 11/23 - LCD Soundsystem @ Knockdown Center 11/25 - TV on the Radio @ Webster Hall 12/5 - LCD Soundsystem @ Knockdown Center 12/7 - LCD Soundsystem @ Knockdown Center

Unless you plan on doing multiple playthroughs (very possible due to the nature of this game) it’s actually not too long. Maybe 25-30 hours, which is short compared to other RPGs out there. I really liked it, though all the hype I heard about it, calling it the spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment probably raised my expectations a bit too high. Fantastic game but not quite to the level of the reviews I saw. I for sure prefer P:T over DE.
Speaking of which, I’m about to start Torment: Tides of Numenera after I get back from Coachella which I’ve heard is the “true” successor to P:T. Heard mixed things about it but figured I’d give it a go.
