Played the first twenty attempts of Hades with the picture too zoomed in to see the God Meter and never using Calls 👍
I'm like wtf how are people beating this in 15 attempts oh maybe they're actually using the most powerful move in the game more often than not at all. Not that I'm especially great at the game. Probably gonna take many more attempts. I did beat the minotaur on a run already but I had a super lucky/powerful build (Aegis special hangover perk).
Did you beat the minotaur solo?
I had God Mode turned on but it maybe took me 10 tries to clear a run. Can sometimes get to the final boss without God Mode on though. Depends on what weapon I'm using.
Hangover Aegis is pretty good. Really anything that ticks (Zeus's lightning, Ares' doom, Aphrodite's weak) is good on it. Use one of the gods' keepsakes in Tartarus to guarantee you get their boon ASAP and you're golden. (Also just get the keepsakes by handing out nectar to *everybody*)
Aspect of Zeus is great for the shield because you can have your special out and do a normal attack at the same time. Does anyone know why? Nope. Shield's just kinda buggy in general.
All the video game talk on the People of Inforoo podcast reminded me that I need to come in here and ask about my game...
I'm not much into video games on home consoles, I'm more of an arcade player. Anyone here play Killer Queen?
It was like, a dollar on switch onetime and I got it.
Never played it though.
That's Killer Queen Black, which is pretty different from the arcade version. I personally don't love KQ Black... the whole point of KQ as an arcade game is the ten player setup and for it to be a social game, so the Switch version just doesn't appeal to me much.
Just get the fan translated version and run it on any gba emulator. It’s fun. I’ve got the translated version somewhere in my google docs if you want it.

I've long wished for Nintendo to do a Kingdom Hearts type RPG with all of their IP but a sequel to Mario RPG would be cool too.
All I really want is a Paper Mario game in the same style as the first 3. I miss when they could have truly original characters. Super Mario RPG is amazing though and I would love to see a sequel
Also, anyone who has a switch and hasnt played it yet, Earthbound is on the SNES Online library now which is free w online member ship. Highly rec, some of the coolest visuals and music in any game ive ever played. Which is impressive given it came out in 1994

The music is AMAZING and the story is HEARTWRENCHING
I'm planning on streaming games throughout my transition once I get on hormones. Just think it would be cool way to get a video log of the changes that happen to my body and my voice and that shit. Disco Elysium will certainly be one of them.
So yeah SINCE I'M ON HORMONES NOW...I gotta pick
thinking
Disco Elysium Hades The Witcher 3 Mass Effect Skyrim (once I get a load order that works) Assassins Creed Valhalla and Odyssey, probably in that order. Possibly Origins too. MLB The Show, once 22 comes out maybe Hyper Light Drifter and Hollow Knight
still gotta come up with a kind of schedule and get things working on my end

Excluding games that count on different platforms, Elden Ring is currently ranked 13th on Metacritic's all-time list.
(Highest rated platform noted if multi-platform)
1. Ocarina of Time 2. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (PS1) 3. GTA IV (PS3) 4. Soulcalibur 5. Super Mario Galaxy 6. Super Mario Galaxy 2 7. Red Dead Redemption 2 (XB1) 8. GTA V (XB1) 9. Disco Elysium: The Final Cut 10. Breath of the Wild (Switch) 11. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (PS2) 12. Perfect Dark (N64) **13. Elden Ring (PS5)** 14. Metroid Prime 15. GTA III (PS2)
Perfect Dark still holds up on the Rare Replay collection, btw.
On Opencritic, it is #2 behind only Super Mario Odyssey.
1. Super Mario Odyssey **2. Elden Ring** 3. Breath of the Wild 4. Red Dead Redemption 2 5. GTA V 6. God of War 2018 7. Last of Us Remastered 8. Persona 5 Royal 9. Persona 5 10. Hades 11. Super Mario 3D World 12. Divinity: Original Sin 2 13. Journey 14. Undertale 15. Dead Cells: The Queen and the Sea
Elden Ring is definitely riding the line of "I'll play it to see if the hype is real" and "never playing it because I know it won't."
Both of these lists are wild, ngl. Pretty standard picks and then you have Disco Elysium, two versions of the same game and a DLC pack coming in off the top rope.
But what do I know, I'd put Team Fortress 2 in my top 10.
