i think what he's saying is rather than give a headlining spot to a big hiphop act, Daft Punk will get it.
assuming, i suppose, that we won't have an Electronic AND Hip/Hop headliner the same year.
Understood. I just suppose I am still burning for Roots headliner with John Legend & Guests and Daft Punk LN. (speculating that the rest headliners to be Neil Young. MMJ. Arcade Fire.)
Outkast- I wish but we would get Big Boi waaaaaay before Outkast.
Kanye- will thankfully not be back. to much bad blood on both ends.
Em. - the most realistic/ sensible possiblity mentioned so far. Especiallt after his new album has shown a bit of maturity. (for him)
Wayne- I personally would check out some kick-ass electronic show that would conflict with this, but i have no problem with him being there.
I would personally like to see the likes of atmosphere, mos def, MF DOOM (if he shows), Madlib (or preferably Madvillan), Sage Francis, the Roots or Saul Williams.
Unfortunately, it seems if your hip hop, you only get to play the roo if you have an album that just came out or is about to come out. So the best/ realistic possiblities are the Roots, Eminem, and Wayne considering he makes music year round.

headlining on saturday after U2 who is after Jack Johnson would be a hell of a way of transitioning the half way point of the weekend and that day thus starting my second wind !
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
Meth & Red would be a huge get for a Bonnaroo LN, but it all depends on what direction the lineup goes ... does jay-z's success mean more hip hop especially in the undercard because no one can think of a feasible hip hop headliner? we shall see

I just started getting into People Under the Stairs. No idea what their live show is like. But if they came to roo I would definitely check out their set.
That was really my first exposure to their music at all. They had me going the whole time. That was a great night for hip-hop, got to see MURS and People Under The Stairs. Definitely my favorite Thursday out of my three Roos.
