There is another thread on this started by our old friend pittbob - but he is never here - so those first post updates are not possible.
I'd like to use this thread as a roll call for those who would like to participate in Camp Inforoo VIP this year. What does that entail?
1) get to the check in at a reasonable time and be all set to go
2) meet (after checking in) in the lot on the left side of the building
3) once everyone is situated, we head in as a group, park together, and have the best campsite ever!
I'd like to start a private contact list for the folks interested in participating. In the past, we've done a general list of all vip inforoo'ers - but I never used it and it was a big timesink.
The main reason for the list is to contact folks who are late or otherwise incapacitated the morning of check in. we dont want to wait around for people who arent coming. If you want to get added, please PM me your first name, cell, the make/model/color of the car you expect to be driving, and how many people are coming with you. Only provide this information if you plan on joining camp inforoo VIP, not if you are just going VIP...
Let me tell you, last year was amazing - we had so much shade and it was so easy to find such a big campsite. Not to mention the good people...
when you leave the school there is a small road right on the right - it leads to the parking-lot on the side of the school - seemed convenient. although meeting up at the food lion itself would allow for those last minute ice / water / whatever purchases.
however, the food lion invites shopping - which leads to people waiting for that guy (probably me) who needs that last pack of gum
It will be myself and my handsome, witty and single son Graham who will have just graduated High School. He hasn't yet made a profile on here hopefully he will set his cell phone down and get on it soon.
We are tent camping and not doing the food option. As the next couple months go by, we should coordinate some meals and beverages and whatever else.
With the big Conan announcement yesterday, maybe we can all email him and invite him over to Camp Inforoo for dinner or drinks...who knows? stranger things have happened

i assume you know camp inforoo is not going to be a den of sobriety, so if you have any concerns with your son being around "whatever", keep that in mind... if that isn't a problem, then cool look forward to meeting you both
I figured this would be the best place to post this, but may put this in some other threads as well. I would like to initially limit this to Camp Inforoo VIP peeps cause thats where I will be. I live about 10-15 minutes, if that, from the Nashville airport. If anyone is flying in and needs a ride, let me know. I have a full size, extended cab pickup, so I will have plenty of room for gear and several people. I can also provide a place to stay if anyone is wanting to fly in Wednesday evening(can also make some runs to some local stores for food, booze, camping or party supplies, whatever). I can drop you off at the airport on Monday and I will more than likely not be leaving Sunday night. Please send me a PM if you need a ride and we can work out the details.

First year doing VIP, 4th roo, would like to try and join up with you guys. Right now I'm a single but If i find someone to take my other ticket i'll be +1.
Thanks, I do what I can to help out. I also should have included that those who are driving to the area Wednesday for a short commute Thursday are welcome as well. Its around an hour and a half drive to get to Roo from my place. Its not minutes down the road like some hotels in Manchester, but its also free. I figure this is also a way for me to meet a few people beforehand

Speaking of Wed. The wife and I are staying at the Hojo in Murfreesboro that night. There's a mexican restaurant next door where we'll probably grab dinner and a few drinks. I'm hoping we'll leave Cleveland early enough to be there by 7:00PM or so.
If anyone is interested just shoot me a PM and we'll trade info to meet up.

Cool let me know when you all decide to leave, I'm hoping we'll be on the road by about 10AM. Maybe we can start a bit of a caravan up North and pick up a few more cars along the way.
ok...I'm HOPING to be on the road by then as well. It's just going two of us, My son and I. We live a few miles east of Canton and will be taking rt 30 and picking up rt. 71 around Mansfield.
