Ah, here's the Super Team losing to the worst team in baseball.
You understand the Dodgers are 1-11 in extra innings? As soon as it went to the 10th I knew it was over. I also didnt know you won championships at the end of July.

No. But the Dodgers have won 3 of the last 4 NL pennants, are defending WS champs, are currently the favorites to win the WS, and have the highest payroll in the league by at least $50m. And then picked up the best SP on the trade market because Bauer's more of a scumbag than we first thought.
Even the Yankees, Red Sox, and Astros have some level of restraint - where the Dodgers have just gone fully into fuck it mode.
1-11 in extra innings w one of the Ls being the worst team in baseball isn't exactly something to brag about, and makes me feel good about them getting hung up down the line

Its called going 'all in' because you never know when your championship window will close. Look at the Cubs... were supposed to be a possible dynasty after they won a few years ago and just had a fire sell for basically all their talent they had left from that team. Same can be said for the Nationals.
Also, it's not like the Dodgers didn't have to pay a hefty price for that trade. They farm system is pretty decimated now.
The white sox beat the Yankees on a walk off homer. Kind of a cool fact that the first white sox walk off homer against the Yankees was hit by Shoeless Joe Jackson.
Tatis should get the surgery on his shoulder and call it a season. Them thinking its going to get better in 10 days is just a way to give people hope he'll magically recover. Going to need surgery either way.
Braves finally got hot. Imagine if Acuna wasn’t out.
To be fair it's against the Nats and the Mets have shit the bed recently. But they've definitely played much better recently and might be the favorite in the East going forward, especially if DeGrom stays out longer.

helps that all the deadline acquisitions are producing. gotta give props to anthopoulos.
Braves infield have a chance to all reach 30 hrs which has never been done before. 2008 marlins had 25 with Hanley Ramirez, Mike Jacobs, Uggla, and Cantu. Thought that was pretty interesting.

Something that triggered me last night. Braves are playing the Yankees in Atlanta. Stanton hits a 2 r double to put the Yankees ahead last night and the roar of the crowd was ridiculous. So many quack Yankees fans. And most of them are bandwagon just because they've won so much. It pissed me off.

idk they haven't even been that good recently lol
My view on bandwagons is, even if you stayed on through some losing, the only reason you ever climbed aboard was the winning. It still annoys me to have that many Yankees fans in Atlanta.
"About 40,000 New Yorkers resettled in Atlanta between 2000 and 2005, double the number from any other state, according to the Atlanta Regional Commission"
imagine there's a lot of more recent film transplants too

I know Yankees fans here that are not from NY. It's never cool with me. I'm really loyal to the local teamS I guess.

Yankee fans always show up on the road, because there's so many of them.
