Inching very close to hitting the panic button for the Mavs. Never been quite this disappointed in Luka’s defense. I also get that J Kidd always costs us games in October with weird ass rotations but something really doesn’t feel right thus far
14-0yeah. Cavs broke 130 again - season high 144 with Mobley out. They learned how to play top-level D the last two years, and now they're just going nuts and out shooting everybody. We got so used to a totally different style that no one knew they could even play this way.
This Spurs/Lakers game is wild. Give me Wemby vs every big man.
Has he partnered with Wendy's yet? Seems like an obvious if cheesy marketing opportunity for them, with hijinks involving name confusion, Wemby's and Wendy's. Maybe not yet, until he becomes more of a household name. Invest now in a future partnership, Wendy's, before McDonald's grabs him.
Bullshit game with Nuggets. joker is out but we are playing 2 of our top 9 and whatever Missi is going to be. This season sucks already as much as the Saints. Fire all doctors, trainers, cooks and anyone else involved in conditioning.

Every team doubles BI. Thus 7 game losing streak.
W last night tho 😎
Yeah it was. I actually typed that when the game was ending. But it’s disappointing when the team has so much talent. With Murphy back it’s all on him and Ingram. Everyone just double teams Ingram and takes him out of a lot of plays. Brandon Boston is okay but he wouldn’t even be in the rotation. Maybe we have a strong finish to the season, but by then you’re playing for play-in position.
This game fucking sucks too. We are up 10 on the Lakers at half but will likely lose a game we could have won by 35. Trigger Trey is resting tonight too. Un fucking believable. Come on January.
out on the sixers til after the new year (minus the one game i have tix too). this shit is so unwatchable and embarrassing. If it doesnt pick up in Jan Nurse needs to be fired.
Yeah, I'm pretty disillusioned as well. Brandon Ingram skidded and hurt his ankle last night in the 41 point loss to the Mavericks. Now he's out tonight, and we gotta play the 15-1 Cavs. Trey Murphy can't carry the team by himself. Spot us 20-25. Cavs are -14. You can adjust that upward considerably for favorable odds IMHO. We're getting stomped.

And one of my kids listened and did the -25 for +250 and cashed in a fat profit. Congratulations to all who tailed.
Sixers 2-12, worst record in the NBA. Luckily that pick they owe OKC is top-6 protected this year.
i want the team blown up at the deadline so bad but i know it wont happen. George is fucking cooked. Martin blows, Gordon blows, Lowry is done, Drummond is a joke.
Save Embiid and trade him in the off season. Nothing against him its just time for both to move on. Build around Maxey, McCain, and our new french superstar.

do you think maxey/mccain is a potential fox/haliburton situation? Seen people speculating on McCain getting traded which feels wild to me haha

It could be but that was a little weird in Sac bcuz in 2 seasons Hali didnt even play 75 games. Mightve been more them not wanting to build with an injury prone player seeing how they drafted him after he played like 4 games in college. Maxey was on the broadcast recently talking about hes been pushing and encouraging McCain. Maxey can easily play off the ball more than either Fox or Hali can too i would say.

What the hell was that? The league has made a token effort to placate fans by limiting rest days and scheduled losses and whatnot, but you still get games like this sometimes. Both teams were missing all sorts of players. The rook Tyson normally can't sniff the floor but he started and came close to a triple double. Cavs keep putting up 120+ but you have to take a trainwreck like that with a grain of salt. We'll take the W though.

I don't get that team. They always look like they could be a contender on paper, but then... Drummond has always looked like a guy you'd want, but never makes a team better. Lowry, yep, never liked him and should probably hang it up. I've always kind of thought George was overrated, and now he doesn't even look interested in playing. Does anyone in Philly have any hair left, or has Embiid made everyone pull it all out by now?
I keep waiting for them to turn it on but it ain't happening.

It was even worse. We didn’t have Trey Murphy either so our Top 8 guys were all out. Ingram hopefully is short term with the bilateral ankle sprain. Murphy has a right hamstring. Rookie Missi was questionable and is our 9th guy but ended up playing anyway. So the entire starting lineup and our next 3 guys off the bench are down. It’s not going to get better until late December or early January, but how deep is the hole at that point? We have quite a bit of talent but continue to be unable to shake the injury bug

all things considered i dont find Embiid to be the problem. Our biggest issue is that when he sits or doesnt play at all the team crumbles for whatever reason. Prob falls more on coaching in the end but all of these new guys suck and its frustrating. I know we paid PG a max but hes asked to fill the Harris role which comes with as low of a bar as you could ask for and hes been worse somehow. Now that Maxey is back and getting some min under his belt again we should start to improve some but who knows. shit is bleak right now. makes no sense

we are one in the same my friend. Though ill admit the injury bug has hit you guys even harder the past few years. Both teams are gonna have to blow it up sooner rather than later i think if the injury bug cant be shook.

Yeah, probably so. It's unfortunate because Griffin has assembled a good team and has hit on some good draft picks. Plus we finally have a real point guard who of course fractures his hand in the like the 3rd or 4th game. The one good thing is that we do have tradable assets. Zion could bring in a huge haul but there are always questions about him being injury prone. Ingram's contract is up this year. I thought we'd move him before the season (even though I want him more than Zion at this point). Maybe he's a mid-season move rather than letting him walk for nothing. But we would get some salary cap space back since he's making $36 million this year. We're probably not going to offer him a max though he'd be eligible for a 4 year $207MM deal with us or a 5 year up to $269MM in free agency.
i know theres a lot of season to go but i really want the sixers to shut down embiid and PG. Keep our pick assuming it will land top 6 (it will) and give it one more shot next season with everyone fully healthy and rested. Blow it up if we cant reach the finals
