Nets are 100% one of the most talented teams ever, hard to call them one of the best if they don't accomplish anything. KD by himself was like half an inch away from beating the champs last year.
But I’ll say this. It was cool seeing the Toyota Center. We had that bomb ass top floor condo air B and B for 2017 Day for Night. We were looking that way from where we were on the SE/SC part of downtown H.
Fuck. We are looking to trade away Josh Hart and some picks for CJ McCollum. Hart is my favorite Pelican. But I do love CJ and we could use his leadership and shooting abilities if the rise of Herb Jones is what made Hart expendable. I'll grit it, but I'll miss Hart's coast to coast plays where he rebound and takes it all the way to the rim against the other team. We get at least one of those plays every game.
Shams reports that we are finalizing the trade to include Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Josh Hart, Didi Louzada and Tomas Satoransky and draft capital* for McCollum. Larry Nance Jr. and Tony Snell apparently also may be coming over with that deal. Portland is in blow-up mode.
* 2022 First Round Protected Pick (becomes Blazers' pick if it falls between #5 and #11) plus 2 Second Rounders

I really hope Larry can enjoy some success with you guys. Crazy that his career so far has been several seasons with a bad Lakers team, a half season with Lebron on his last Cavs Finals run followed by several godawful Cavs seasons, only to be shipped out to a dysfunctional Trail Blazers team right as the Cavs rebound in a big way.

Yeah, I hope so too. I always liked him and liked his dad too. I guess our starting 5 would be something like Graham, McCollumn, Ingram, Herb Jones and Valanciunas until Zion is back. Once he's back, Graham probably goes to backup 1/2 and McCollum should then slide to PG which I think he's more natural at but wasn't able to really play that in Portland's starting offense since they had Lillard. Not sure what we would do at the 2 unless we played hybrid with 1G/3F/1C in which case either Ingram or Jones could play SG. Also Point-Zion would be in the mix if Willie is willing to follow up on what Van Gundy was experimenting with. Or they could slide Graham to starting 2 and let CJ be the point.
think him and dinwiddie are a really bad fit, same with him playing with Rui
Hard to know if the Wizards will give him a max extension or if they're going to want to move him. Seems like this could go either way. But I'm pretty sure his contract is up at the end of the year. If there isn't mutual interest in him staying, they may try to do something before Thursday's deadline where they can at least get some value for the remainder of this season.
I didn't think it was likely. I just didn't know that he was a Nugget fan (or maybe just an NBA fan at large). Figured he was with the Warriors or something since he's Berkeley/Alaemda Co.
I kind of expected a few superstars to move and a couple more blockbuster trades besides Pelicans-Blazers and Kings-Pacers. Deadline is tomorrow at 3:00pm so we've only got 27 hours and some change.
