Beck... hahah, that was really funny to see. But it's odd, musically it was exquisitely performed... but then they have Will Ferell just turn it into a total farce. Leave it to Conan...
Only caught the monologue and the closing jam... hate to see him go off.
But I will say this; I can't wait to see what he does next.
but we will be behind him no matter what. it may take a year or two at fox for him to build a new audiece, but once he does and he start seeing American Idol/24/Lie To Me/Glee/House/Human Target as lead ins he could still challenge leno and letterman in a three way battle.
If its at fox he will probably go on at 11, unless they want to go with Wanda Sykes for a half houe evey weekday, If not that Conan will go on at 11, putting him not in direct copact with dave and conan, but rather DailyShow/ Colbert Report (which appeals to about the same target market as Conan, These guys are also good friends, and i doubt they would all be pleased with that.
Which is why i would either get to work on two shows if i were fox, Either move wanda to open for conan for 30 min. giving Conan a five minute start (which is almost SO counterprogramming it just might work) or get a solid following act act 12 (Chelsea Handler, Michael Ian Black, Maybe even Andy's own show. )

Me too. Seriously. It was very bittersweet. Coco did it his way and the right way. He did what he wanted to do and went out the way he wanted to. He'll be back, somewhere and his show will still kick @ss and Jay Leno will still be doing the same lame headlines that only people over 50 will laugh at.
You could totally tell how much fun Conan was having up there playing with all those guys. It was classic and amazing and superwonderfantastic. You go Coco!
