Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I was primarily thinking about hotels in the NW burbs/near O'Hare, but another option would be to stay in Evanston and take the red line down. Best Western University Plaza is going for $46/night on Expedia and looks pretty decent. Two blocks from the red line, should be about 45 minutes to the fest.

Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

That's exactly what I was gonna say... i much prefer the roo lineup although being impressed with lollas when it came out.
I think it's really weird they are giving one of the headliners 30 less min every night. I think they've done that rarely in the past but that's how it is for every night this year and the headliner I wanna see is getting the short end every night. I would have thought at least Arcade Fire would get 2 hours!
I don't know, the line-up seems a lot less impressive on the schedule, basically the exact opposite of what happened with me for Roo.
I was thinking the exact same thing as I was going through the schedule.
I was hoping to be able to catch a full set from the Keys to justify me bouncing between them and Chromeo at Roo, but since they're up against Hot Chip at Lolla, I don't know.
And Green Day gets the longest set of the weekend?
Right now I am in the, "Can I make it to Lollapalooza this year" mode. Can't worry about it too much as I am getting ready for Bonnaroo, but going to Lolla this summer as well would be nice.
Those late-night decisions are brutal, nodepression. Specifically Saturday. I'm real jealous you get to see the Keys again, but having to choose between them and the National, Minus The Bear, Gogol Bordello, or Hot Chip would make my head explode. Glad to see you made it out alive.
Gotta go with Gogol Bordello on Sat. Night since I'll probably miss them in the Park due to the xx and Grizzly Bear. Missed both on the farm the past two years so that'll help. Hopefully I can snag two tickets.

I'm not going to the actual festival, but I'm thinking of going to an aftershow almost every night. It's great because I can go see bands I missed at Roo, like the Black Keys and Phoenix.
I'll be at Cut Copy Friday and as much as I'd like to see the Keys at the Metro on Saturday, I think I'm going to go with Hot Chip. The Congress is going to be partying for awhile that night.
For those that don't mind getting a text a day from the Metro, if you opt into their texts, they'll be sending out presale passwords:
Hm. Maybe I'll catch the Keys at the Metro. I really hate that they're up against Hot Chip. I did already see Hot Chip at Coachella and I'll be seeing them again at Voodoo, but they always put on such a great show. I still need to make a decision on Dirty Projectors vs Matt & Kim and Mumford vs Minus the Bear too. And I know Garage will cry when he finds out I have to skip These United States so I can see B.o.B. Did they really have to put The XX, Gogol Bordello and Grizzly Bear so close together? Can I please just get one festival with zero conflicts?
those tickets were sold out BEFORE 10AM. did anyone happen to get one for the keys or phoenix??? I am gonna just hope for the best on friday when they actually go on sale, and if i dont get the tix - whatever.
For any of you who are still looking for a reason to go to Lollapalooza (as if the lineup wasn't enough), make sure to check out all the exclusive Afterparties/Aftershows happening throughout the Lolla weekend. Check them out here do312.com/lollaaftershows All tickets go on sale Friday!
As an MGMT fan, I have to make a quick plug for the MGMT aftershow happening at the House of Blues on Friday August 6th. With less than 1000 tickets available, this is going to be a totally awesome and uniquely intimate show. The best part about it is that all proceeds benefit the People's Music School, a non-profit community organization that provides musical education and lessons for those that would not otherwise be able to afford them. Hopefully I'll see some of you there!
