Crystal Castles - Top 5 show of the fest for me. A sweaty fun mess. Smoke machine was an awesome touch. Anyone have footage of the show? I was the d-bag crowdsurfing my ass off until I fell in close. Pretty Lights - dude fest. Stayed for about 40 minutes. Fun, impressive, and very spot on performance from what I saw between the dj and drummer. Oakenfold - watched him bomb 2 transitions and said, "To hell with this guy." When you see a couple thousand people go WTF!?!?, it's time to go. Girl Talk - Tried to get up there, but the place was PACKED crazy. Was fun from the outside for a while though.

Girl Talk was fun, I agree, I was in the back because of how crowded it was...that didn't shock me at all Oakenfold was alright, it kinda was stupid at some points but oh well Pretty Lights, I hear much hype about him and I was not really impressed. I think he is good but not mind blowing.
Phoenix into Crystal Castles into GirlTalk absolutely BLEW MY MIND!!! GT was freaking craziest party I've ever been to (i was on the rail then on the stage) and Crystal Castles was equally insane. One of my surprise shows of the weekend for sure.

Crystal Castles all the way,. Even though it wasn't much of a musical performance it was still great. Girl Talk was crazy, but i had to elave early cause I got a text saying our tent was broken into.

I was walking to Phish late night, passed by Phoenix and ended up staying for them. It was incredible.
Stayed at Girl Talk very briefly, and went and spun mad poi at Pretty Lights. I really dug Pretty lights. After their set, I went to Oakenfold for about 30 minutes, thought he was absolutely terrible and boring.
Girl Talk won hands down for best party of the night. Greg Gillis was having a blast, especially in the middle. Definitely a fun show.
Oakenfold was alright, I came in probably halfway through his set where a good bit of people had left; so there was plenty of room to dance and move about.
Pretty Lights was definitely better than Oakenfold from what I heard, but nothing really grabbed my attention, so I made my way back to Girl Talk and the Xbox Disco.
I'm not quite sure who was at Xbox's tent, but they were doing a pretty bitchin job. I was extremely impressed with the acts they booked, especially that particular show.

I caught the last few songs of Phoenix, thought they were really good.
Crystal Castles was SO sick! Unfortunately I had to leave halfway through their set and go back to camp for party favors.
After finding Molly at my campsite I went to Girl Talk with my 5 female neighbors, that was fun haha. I danced my ass off near the back-right of the tent for most of the show. I was wearing a glow necklace and had a green tshirt hanging from my shoulder...anyone see me?
After Girl Talk I completely forgot about going to Pretty Lights, I ended up hearing Oakenfold from afar and just followed the music to his stage. I had a blast at his show, the tent wasn't very full when I first got there. Eventually more people from Girl Talk came by, then I ended up just dancing around outside the tent for awhile. I tried going back to camp right as he started playing some song that sampled Radiohead (Paranoid Android, was it?) so naturally I went right back and kept dancing for the remainder of his set. Sometime after the sun came up I had to just sit down in the grass in front of This Tent. I couldn't stand anymore but I was still dancing.
Girl Talk>Oakenfold was one big night/early-morning of dancing for me. 10/10.

I am not into DJs at all, but I tried out Girl Talk. There were so many people there, it was crazy. That was the most people I saw at That Tent all weekend. We originally went to This Tent only to realize we were in the wrong spot, then went to Girl Talk for five minutes then went to bed for some much needed rest.

I was so quacking dehydrated after those three shows! Despite having killed at least half a dozen bottles of water, I pissed neon yellow for the first half of the next day. One of the best nights of my life, no question!

I got there for CC, who were pretty lackluster, then got close for Girl Talk. By the time people rushed the stage, I was up on the rail (never got on the stage, though, and it did get incredibly packed up where I was). Great, great show. Pandemonium.
Crystal Castles put in for one of the best shows in my four years of bonnaroo experience. The energy during that show was overwhelming, and they built such a flawless image of themselves as stars, despite being fairly unknown.
Girl Talk had a similar amount of energy, but I was pretty turned off by the music stopping a couple of times, I mean, the dude just hits the play button and dances, what is there to screw up?
Pretty Lights was the runner up of the night for me. That all being said, easily the best late night i've ever had at roo.

Crystal Castles owned all. I'll concede that alot of the criticisms are true.. She does shriek alot and she doesn't have the same vocal capacity as she does on the album... But in the end, she makes up for it ten-fold with her stage presence. Amazing, amazing show.
