Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I know that there is no chance of this happening, but I would love to see Nils Lofgren play a solo acoustic set or a set with his own band. He rarely makes it down to the south when he tours and I've really gotten into his stuff lately.

i want to have my CAKE and eat it too!!!
i might lose control if i got a late night cake set and got to scream rock and roll lifestyles at 2 in the morning edit: funny i just got an email from cake saying they're playing a hand full of 2 set shows maybe a sign
oh and i want some eagles of death metal and i want down back
^they played memphis last night at minglewood hall, opening for Old Crow Medicine Show.
Band I wish could be added:
SONIC YOUTH
I know, and I totally wanted to go. But trying to find a sitter on a Sunday night is like trying to poop in a hurry - impossible. But I did see them back in October at the Hi-Tone.
Did you go to the show? I'm curious about the new venue.
And I second your Sonic Youth suggestion. I haven't seen them since Bonnaroo 06. We were so tired by Sunday, and that show was great to just sit back and relax to.

M83!
They are not play sasquatch and have announced a few dates on the west coast. All they need to do is make there way to the east for about two weeks and then they are in prime Bonnaroo time.

I dusted the Buena Vista Social Club off of my "cd rack" today and enjoyed it for old times sake...anybody think they're good enough for the farm? I had completely forgotten about those guys.
Also, see that Bob Dylan will have an album out by April and European tour comes to a close in early May, sooooooo...

I Second EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY>>>>>> at the top of my bands I must see list...... Their presence at Sasquatch Fest makes me think there is a chance they could do some festivals this summer....... PLEASE BONNAROO ADD EITS.
BORIS, Sufjan Stevens, DeVotchKa, A Place to Bury Strangers, Bishop Allen... that's just off the top of my head. I'm actually kinda surprised at the lack of hip-hop. Hopefully some more artists get added, like Lupe Fiasco or something like that.

Wouldnt Chick Corea rock as a jazz tent performance?
That would be great. I caught Chick Corea and Bela Fleck together about a year ago and it was just amazing. If people are not familiar with his work check out spain, its a great piece. Im new to roo and this is going to be my first year but do they announce the artists that would play in that jazz tent(if their having a jazz tent this year)?
2/17/09 - Eagles of Death Metal 6/11/09 - BONNAROO!!! 6/17/09 - Hank III 6/27/09 - Ghostland Observatory 7/25/09 - Incubus 9/13/09 - X Fest 9/29/09 - Passion Pit 3/30/10 - Black Rebel Motorcycle Club 3/22/10 - The Big Pink 6/10/10 - BONNAROO!!!
I've noticed that Karl Denson's Tiny Universe has announced some shows recently. It's been a long time since they've been around. I'd love to see them added to the lineup.
This thread is wayy too long to read at this point, but if anyone sees this:
RHCP Dylan Wallflowers White Stripes Daft Punk Foo Fighters Primus A Perfect Circle The Dead Tiesto Deadmau5 (Oakenfold can't be THE dj this year for God's sake!) Ryan Adams Jay Z Bowie Muse (didn't think about them til I read what the guy ahead of me just said) Superdrag Todd Steed and the Suns of Phere

This would be tremendous. I highly doubt it will happen, though; He is touring with a super-duper-all-star band now, John McLaughlin, Christian McBride, Kenny Garrett and Vinnie Colaiuta. They are charging top dollar for these, so they would have to charge Bonnaroo a ton of money, and they wouldn't be a huge draw with the typical Roo goer.
Oh, and the last two years they have announced the 'Somethin Else' lineup just a few weeks before the festival. Who knows what they will do with it this year. Two years ago it was sponsored by Blue Note and filled with Blue Note artists. This year Blue Note is doing a bunch of shows for their 70th so maybe they'll sponsor the tent again.
