got in line at the box office. was about 155 in line after lottery handout. literally the dude after me got the last tickets. were section 33 Page side!!!!!!
my friend said he got the last 4 there, what did the guy look like?haha
well our tickets were #144 so after lotto we were like #155 in line. i figured i give the net a shot so went to a starbucks to see if i had a shot. when i saw the website crashed i sat for like 15 minutes then went back in line where my girlfriend was keeping our place. this dude with a pretty sweet red sox hat had asked her if we would buy him a ticket and she said sure. we ended up giving him one of our lotto tix so he could purchase 4 whole tickets. we ran into him on his way out of there and he said he got the last four. we also hooked up a couple dudes with 2 more tix because we only had money for 2. but yeah my gf had on a nice yellow shirt and jeans and i had on a tiedye shirt and a brown sweatshirt with jeans

::hijacks thread::
I just got really, really excited b/c I realized I'm going to be freaking out listening to Phish outside @ 1am, @ bonnaroo. Not sure how this just sunk in, but it did.
Hampton was refreshing & great & reunion-like & fluffhead was epic and i loved it. But it was a hotbox with no room (where I was) for me to fully get down. Just looking forward to a starry sky, that random breeze right when the Tweezer jam starts to lift off and ROOM. LOTS & LOTS OF ROOM.

::stops hijacking thread::
I'm going to go ahead and make an official ruling here.
Using the "Phish at Roo" thread to say why you're looking forward to watching PHISH AT BONNAROO does not qualify as a thread hijack.
6/18: Phish in Hartford 6/25: Phish in Camden 7/2-7/4: Nateva 7/17: God Street Wine at Irving Plaza 7/23-7/25: String Cheese at Red Rocks!! 8/17-8/18: Phish at Jones Beach 9/3: Rush at PNC
This Bonnaroo lineup is in dire need of some Rush.
So, is everyone who is going to Knoxville going to be leaving straight from the show and getting in line at Roo, or finding somehwere to sleep for the night and heading in the next morning/afternoon?
I plan on getting out of the show, driving for an hour or so, getting some sleep, and meeting up with my group who is not going to the show.
i will most certainly be spending one last night in a hotel - i probably will not have showered since June 5th, and sleeping in a real bed and getting a nice shower before Bonnaroo will be necessary
Google maps says its 2hrs 53mins. Usually the estimated time is a little longer than it actually takes. But I assume traffic will play an issue. I have never came from that direction. I wonder if there is more or less traffic than coming from the south.
