Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I love the name Roo Roam '09 - do we all like this? If nobody objects, I humbly offer my graphic design services to make some sort of logo thing that we could put on t-shirt or whatever. Just if anyone wanted to make an iron-on transfer tshirt or anything. Does this sound like a good idea? If people like the idea (and if everyone likes Roo Roam '09 for a name) I'll probably start thinking soon because it'll be fun. Haha.
I'm diggin' Roo Roam '09! If you're into making the t-shirts then let's get it going! We can all make a few designs and then we'll vote on them. Everyone in? We also need to make a list of everyone who's in on the Roam.
well, as mentioned before, I think we should certainly try to get a look at the art at each pod
Of course!!! ... that was the reason we started this ;D So- we're doing all pods and the search for Shakedown. I am planning on bringing a camera- however, I have no intentions of being sober- so I'll do my best!!
Also, we haven't mentioned this yet but I would really like our meetup to be outside centeroo so we can bring libations and such without going through security. I plan on bringing enough to share of course
I like the Roo Roam '09 name - makes it sound like it could turn into a annual thing but I'm still open to whatever. Also, if we do t-shirts could we include something that let's people know they could join in??
This is an epic idea. This year I went with a band of people who had to leave sunday morning, but I REFUSE TO LEAVE ANY EARLIER THEN MONDAY MORNING!!!! in 2009. So can I join this? sounds like a lot of fun. I have bongos and a tambourine. and maybe a snare drum! ooooooh fun!
I have two other definites if they come too...we all usually get a little unsober and wander around during parties, one time my two friends got lost in this one town and I tried going out to find them on my friend bicycle, the person whose house it was, and I was riding around a town I didn't know looking for them and when the party host got back his friend picked them up and I had to ride up a giant hill on a bike ahahahahah...by the way I'm John the other two will be Nick and Jeff
Actually, I did this kind of inadvertently this year while I was looking for... uh... crafts. I joined up with a group of about 4-5 people and we walked all over the dang place. We hit almost all the pods and eventually found what we were looking for, but never found the real shakedown...

One of my favorite times of Bonnaroo this year was Sunday night when we went to seek out shakedown and find some goodies. In the process of watching all the Sunday fireworks at the campsite, walking all over buying cheap shirts and venturing about we found shakedown. It was located by the can art pod. Further down we found what we were looking for and we had a blast drinking and just walking around. i would be down for a walking party, but plans of this type can be hard to follow in the craziness of Bonnaroo.

Agreed!! But the craziness of roo is what it's all about!! right?! Half the fun is getting pulled in different directions by everything that makes roo- Roo. You don't have to do the whole thing to enjoy the roam- anyone can join in or part at any time. I expect to lose some people along the way. But- I hope to pick up some too. Don't get me wrong- I'm on a mission! I plan on doing the whole thing. Even if I end up crawling towards the last pods My only concern is being able to meet up with everyone that wants to go.

This could be a good thing, as long as it's Sunday night. I think that's really the only time it would work. But I think that's a little late to be looking for Shakedown. I need my crafts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.

I think this is a good idea. Put me on the list. I'm definitely not gonna do all the pods, but I'd be interested in finding Shakedown and seeing the art.
I'd be totally up for doing this as long as it doesnt really interfere with much music. I just bought a 3L Camelbak which means I can get a full 3:1 Mix:Liquor in it with a full fifth. Should be pretty much in top notch shape by the time its all said and done.

If its late night I don't know if I could do it. After the shows end around iono 3 4 5AM I tend to stumble back to camp and get a few hours of zzz's while its relatively cool. Thats the main reason I mentioned around 10 AM but who knows. I tend to wander around to each pod Thurs and Friday mornings.
I think the late night they were referencing was Sunday night after the last show has finished, that would be before midnight to start (The last show Sunday usually ends 11-ish right?)
