I would take just about anyone over zeppelin.
Such as,
Tom Waits, Pixies, Breeders, Public Enemy, Frank Black, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Stephen Malkmus, Sonic Youth, Eels, Neil Young, Buddy Guy, Burning Spear, Beck, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Silver Jews, Massive Attack, The Flaming Lips, Aphex Twin, A Tribe Called Quest, The Arcade Fire, Jim O'Rourke, Yo La Tengo, Belle and Sebastian, Richard Thompson, DJ Shadow, The Kinks, etc. You get the point.

Goodbye karma, it's been nice knowing you.
to each his own.. but.. karma for the eels..
personally.. i'd take the.. "New Kids on the Backstreet N'Sync Britney (old)Hanson Extravaganza"
Andrew Bird, Sufjan Stevens, FLips, Band of Horses, The Shins, Built to Spill, Conor Oberst and the Mystic Lame Band Name, Modest Mouse, OKKERVIL RIVER, Of Montreal, Radiohead (yeah, right, okay), and the list goes on and on and on.
I'm an indie rock nerd so I'm not big on Led Zep. Especially old reunited Led Zep. I don't care how realistic or unrealistic these are, I just would rather have these than Led Zep. I'm pullin' for at least one. Come on Bonnaroo, gimme gimme gimme.

You're from Nimrod Minn. and Tom Waits isn't on your list? Explain yourself.

Haha, you are right. Good Lord, I really missed some big names...thats what I get for throwing together a list so quickly. Tom Waits is #1 on my must see list, I will edit him into that other post.

I was just about to post the same thing! Karma to both of you when I can.
Ok, maybe if Layne Staley was resurrected, I would also put Alice in Chains ahead of Zeppelin, but thats it.
And theres nothing that I would rather see than Pink Floyd. If god gave me the choice between Pink Floyd and world peace, I wouldnt have to think about it, and that probably makes me a terrible person...but yeah. Floyd all the way.

Come on people, are you all nuts? I've seen Gilmour's Floyd, Water's Floyd, and the O2 Zeppelin show, and to even compare either of the floyd shows to the zeppelin show is ridiculous. This is Led Quacking Zeppelin here, other than the December show, they haven't played in 27 years, they are the basis for so many of the bands we all love. The only way Floyd would even come close to Zeppelin would be if Waters and Gilmour reunited and actually got along well enough to practice together a little bit. But even that would come in behind seeing Led Zeppelin. In fact, I personally would rather see Phish again as opposed to any Floyd show, but still behind Zeppelin
We all hope for Zep but if it not them I really hope it is Clapton and Winwood. I think they would be most impressive and if I can have those two I would hope for Traffic.

The Smiths, without a doubt.
If somebody said they would give me a million dollars to go to the Led Zeppelin show or I would have to pay a million dollars to see The Smiths, I'd see The Smiths.
I'm really holding out for Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin. Really, either one would make me insanely happy. Other, perhaps more likely possibilities: Eric Clapton Daft Punk Phish Bob Dylan, maybe?
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
Primus. All I want is some Claypool, seriously, that's all I need this year to make it perfect. They can add whoever they want, but I'll only be disappointed if there's no Les. Which there probably won't be.
