Thought I would start the Post-VooDoo fest thread to post some pix and such (since I said I would....)
It was SOOOOOO Awesome, sorry all of us weren't there, but the 'Roosters that were there represented well! Spook, Bunny, Teine, Cajun, and moi threw down and then some on Bourbon, in the Park and everywhere else we went in NOLA....
I took like a couple thousand pix so it will take a while to go through them all....here are a few. For some reason (prob cause my 'puter is as tired as I am! ) I may have to post onesies or twosies in a post.... ???
LOL! I have TONS of pix of Chris....he's Meg's makebelievesecondhubby too had to get lots for her....here's another:
I really like the red one of Tom too.....it's during "People of the Sun"...that was the third song they did....right before they kicked us out of the pit.....sigh. Man, just shooting Rage was an adventure ;D So much to fill you guys in on....never shot a show where I wasn't sure whether to be more afraid of moshers, crowd surfers OR getting kicked in the head from the horses that the MOUNTED security they brought INTO THE PIT for crowd control....absolutely insane!
Sigh...I would so have his love child in half a heartbeat....Chris' too of course! LMAO! ;D Actually just the sex please....childbearing notsomuch.....

Just wanted to add how much of an awesome time it was and it was great to finally meet the amazingly organized Spook, super cool Teine, one of a kind Bunny and the oh so cute Bama.

Ditto! We did have an awesome time didn't we? I know I wouldn't have had HALF the fun I did without you guys to hang with! And I wouldn't have made it w/out my invaluable NOLA guide and beignet addiction enabler (Cajun was always tempting us with Cafe Du Monde - like we were going to say no! ) Just sorry you guys had to head out early Sunday and missed the last supper.....but there's always next year....and 'Roo! ;D
But here's some more YUMMY pix of Chris to make Meg's day tomorrow better (maybe )
I was talking to my friend at work today. He's from NOLA and had a bunch of friends that were there. He asked one of them how the Rage show was, and his firend said it was good, but too loud. So my friend said " so you turn 30 and get married, and now Rage Against The Machine is too loud for you?"

ROTFLMFAO!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
It was absolutely HYSTERICAL in the pit....you would have thought we were going to have a f*cking nuclear bomb go off the way people were asking "Do you have ear plugs? Need some? You better have ear plugs!" I mean, yeah, we WERE plastered to the speakers due to the ummmm...security issues....but my hearing is so damaged from years of abuse.... I don't think MORE Rage is gonna make much diff! To be honest.....Rage didn't seem as loud to me as Coheed or even.....I can't even believe I am typing this.....Fall Out Boy Yeah, I shot them, I do whatever it takes..... I guess they figure volume makes up for talent or somesuch
my pics aren't nearly as good as bama's but here they are. btw, it was WONDERFUL meeting everyone and i had an amazing time. now i seriously can't wait until roo.

I wish I didn't forget my camera at Voodoo!! I was so upset, but I got to go on a whim and it was FREE! So no complaints!! I wish all of you newbies could have been there last year.. they had it in the other side of the park and it was SO MUCH BIGGER. I had more fun last year, but still enjoyed myself this year nonetheless!

And I heard a rumor that Teine has some news for us??????
man, i live like 2 hours away from NOLA, so i have no idea why i wasn't there. but, i did manage to come across this site that was streaming many of the performances, so through that and updates from my friend who was there, at least i got to feel a little bit like i was there. all i have to say is that i'm going next year no matter what.
actually, i pulled my recliner in front of the computer screen and just sat on my butt all weekend watching the performances. i must say that i discovered some really great new bands/musicians...and of course, i got to see my wonderful paolo.
