Bonnaroo was as excellent as expected, and All Good is going to rock, I'm sure of that. But what I'm not so sure of is a festival my friends are wanting me to attend this weekend in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. It's only a three hour drive from home, so its not wicked travel, but I haven't heard much feedback, or anything at all really about The Terrapin Hill Festival. I found a website ( www.terrapinhillfarm.com/festival/ ) but would appreciate any info any of ya'll have to throw out there! Any reviews, comments etc? Thanks in advance.
I had no idea they had a summer event out there. Thanx for the heads up kate. This event is kinda like a warmup for their major festival which takes place mid september "The Terrapin Hill Harvest Festival" I attended the harvest festival about three years ago and it was great dj logic, dark star orchestra, steve kimock. I planned on going last year but money was tight and the straw that broke the camels back was the weather, it rained all weekend so i decided to stay home. The atmoshphere is great out there, lotsa lovely people, great food, vendors with lots of local stuffs to sell, and the police are not allowed on the property. They form a hive at the entrance so as long as you stay on the farm (BASE) they cant hassle you....man this is my weekend to work, ill have to see if i can weasel out of it and at least check out whats goin on sat. and sun. need a date kate? i do..
