Here's another affordable event in Minnesota. It will be at Harmony Park in Geneva and will feature an array of underground hiphop artists. It only lasts one day/night (Sat June 23) but will feature at least 10 acts & will only be about $40 w/ camping included.
The Coup will headline...they kinda sound like Outkast, are on the Rhymesayers label, and have quite the biography that includes 9-11 controversy, Communism, the shooting death of a member and a horrible bus crash.
The Doomtree crew (a group of Twin Cities emcees/djs such as SIMS, Cecil Otter, Dessa, POS, Lazerbeak, and Turbo Nemesis) will perform as a full group.
Honeycut, Black Blondie, and a bunch of others round out the roster.
