Hey I was just looking at the 2006 schedule for Lollapalooza and saw that pretty much every band got only one hour for their time slot amd the headliners get an hour and a half. Pearl Jam is there this year and they can definitely fill a three hour set, does this mean they'll be cut short or will Lollapalooza be different this year? I'm wondering for other bands playing as well. Anyone know?

There are late-nights, just not on the festival grounds. The late nights are held at various other venues around the city but the tickets are sold separately. Last year Blues Traveller, Particle, The Brain Damaged Eggmen(Umphrey's McGee and Disco Biscuits combined) and Bustle In Your Hedgerow(Zeppelin tribute band that featured The Duo) all played late-nights, there may have been others but I don't remember. I didn't go the fest itself but hit up all the latenights I could.

I mean, if you consider club shows to count as late night. Most club shows I've been to don't start until 11pm and get out between 1-2am. They're late night shows, but not exactly in the same sense as Bonnaroo. And they usually shut down in conjunction with city sound ordinances.

Thanks everyone. Great to hear about Pearl Jam. Now one more question: Is there camping, cause I couldn't find anything on the website, or am I going to have to rent a hotel if I want to go to this?

Good point. Mostly off topic, but you got me thinking how very unique Bonnaroo is to have the music going past midnight, let alone 'till 4am or later. We are tremendously lucky that our fest makes it a point to have that happen, as it must be very difficult to pull of.
