While I'm not too crazy about several of the bands, I'm looking foward to getting some acts that bonnaroo didn't sign this year.
I wanna go I wanna go - but I am going to St. Louis to visit friends instead - I also wanna go to Jazz Fest in New Orleans - but all the good bands are this same weekend
There's the link. It's only $60 for a three day pass, but it's set up completely different than bonnaroo. The stages are sponsored, and the prices of drinks and whatnot are steeper. That being said, I had a blast last year and would reccomend it to anyone/everyone.
I used to go every year when I lived in Memphis. I think I've gone like maybe 8 times or so. It's alright. They don't organize it that well and it's always completely filled with drunks, but then again that's Beale St. for you. It's like Bourbon Streets' little sister. I've always had fun but it's your typical OVERLY sponsored bar festival but with some good acts. Trey played one year and this was also where I saw The String Cheese Incident for the first time.
