My goal this year is to spend more time checking out the rope-a-dope stage. I heard most of Thursday night's music there from my campground cuz I rolled in late and then I never made it back to the stage. I heard some serious sets went down there with Galactic and some Medeski, and the Duo also I think. Either way I gotta spend more time there this year since thats where most of the spur of the moment sets go down.
huh i didnt get that email. thats great news. im thinking about camping right near the ropeadope stage this year. i know im not camping where i did last year. that 3 mountain walk to the stage whooped my ass. especally once 1 of my crocs disappeared.
I went both roo and Allgood as well. This year I'm skipping roo and hittin Allgood and Big Summer Classic. I am a little sad that I'm missing that late night Cheese show in my own back yard...
Skipping roo this year as well and going to All good instead.. Besides the line-up what sold me was all good roughly 20,000 people 655 acres.. roo 80,000 people 700 acres... I'm so pumped.. 30 days left untill I leave for all good... woohooo

For those who'd like to minimize the environmental and/or financial impact of traveling to All Good, please consider posting offers and requests for shared rides here! (Is there a better place already in existence that serves this purpose? Is it worth starting a new thread?)

What kind of prices do scalpers range here, or is it like roo and if you are patient enough you can get some cheap wristbands from the workers there? I am thinking of trying to get one of my friends to go with me if I can get a really cheap ticket.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."
