ya but the best food was up on the hill by the rope a dope stage... I LOVE SPICEY PIE!!!!!!
and one thing about all good. last year it really really sucked that they only let you bring in one factory sealed water bottle. one time they let us in with a couple. most of the time they were pricks and said only one sealed bottle. and then they stopped selling beer and water a couple of hours before the latenights were done. i looked everywhere for water. there were only a couple of vendors selling it. and they were pouring it out of store bought gallons int o a 10 ounce plastic cup and wanted 2 bucks for it. i have only lost my cool and gone negatvie at a festival 2 times. when a roo security prick took my stuff, and this 2 dollar cup of water bullshit. so keep that in mind. its probably best to throw a bag full of water and beer over the fence so you know you have it. i know i will be bringing a massive amount of beer to the stage this year. i wont buy a single beer from the all good people. and i wont eat at the food inside the stage area becasue they were price gouging for freeeking water!!
One improvement I would like to see this year is some shade tents of some sort. Unless you were in a vendor tent there wasn't anywhere to go to get some shade. Not being able to escape the sun will really take it out of you. After last years fest they emailed everyone a poll and a place to make suggestions. That was mine so hopefully other people said the same thing and they take some action.
I'm itchin for some All Good news. Anybody have any?
I think their line-up is the best of any fest this summer. If only they could get SCI it would be the most super heady collection of bands in a long while.
EDIT: SCI dates just came out--doesn't look good for All Good. They could still be added, though. It would be a major coup.
All Good 2007 is proud to announce additional artists to this year's lineup. The following bands have been confirmed to play:
Drive-By Truckers Benevento/Russo Duo Sam Bush The Bridge Lee Boys Ryan Montbleau Band ----- ...and a friend of mine said on the duo's website that its going to be Bob Weir & Ratdog > the Duo > STS9!! ;D
i hate to say it, but based on lineup alone, i'm actually looking -more- forward to all good then 'roo this year. am i alone?
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
^^^You're not alone. I'm skipping roo this year in favor of All Good and Camp Zoe w/ SCI. I'm sure the music at roo will be great, it always is. I'm more of a fan of the smaller fests. Bonnaroo's line up just aint as heady as it used to be.
This is from the Duo's website:
We have also confirmed an appearance at this year's Allgood Festival in Masontown, WV on Friday, July 13th. We will be closing out the Magic Hat Stage ... sandwiched between Bob Weir and STS9's performances on the mainstage. We look forward to returning to one of our favorite stops on the Summer Festival Circuit.
I didn't figure on the Duo playing the small stage, but that's still a killer line up with a 30-45 minute Duo rager sandwich.

it looks as if I will be slinging coffee yet again. hopefully I can catch the duo and grace....oh and wil hoge and the truckers... who am I kiddin... I will see you all there.
From my understanding, All Good usually has gate tickets. They will be 145 (plus fees I am sure) at the gate this year, but if you get them now they are 119 (plus fees comes out to 140).
I am really pumped about AllGood, look at that lineup man!
I was driving into Atlanta to go see Animal Liberation Orchestra, and one of the overpasses on the way there was "ALLGOOD RD". I felt bummed because I don't have the means to make it up there.
