that's a sweet lineup so far, how about some of those bands get annouced for the roo lineup.....ie moe., yonder...maybe some umphrey's, a little bisco to the treat....
i've got a disease and the only prescription is....another artist addition
hell ya thats a good start!!!!!!! and dont forget dark star orchestra and ozric tentacles on thursday. thats going to be incredible!!!!!! damn am i excited. i was really upset to be missing ozric tentacles at waka. but now i can see them here. i am so excited for july!!!!!! the latenight moe things sounds bad ass too!!!

Oh man this looks so good so far. 2 sets of moe. including latenight all star jam sounds incredible. STS9 latenight and Yonder were two I was really hoping for. Not really expecting Umphrey's since they have been there the last 3 years I think. Would love it if they added them though. A nice Brendan Bayliss and Jeff Austin set on the rope a dope stage would be sick.
ya i wont be surprised if umphreys dosent get added. id definitely be happy if they did. and even happier if they added a brain damaged eggmen latenight!!
and id love to see bobby come out with dark star!!! i didnt think they would top brothers past and easy star for the thursday early bird show. but dark star and ozric tentacles does it for me. i only hope they play on the real stage. and that the fog on thursday last year rolls back in for ozric tentacles. that would be amazing

Very mountainous place. It really is the perfect place to have a festival. You camp on one mountain peak and then the main stage is on another mountain peak. The festival has had notoriously bad weather but last year was absolutely perfect. It rained one time on and off for an hour, during a late night show. It was a drizzle too, hardly rain. It did get real hot during the day but the mornings weren't as bad as Tennessee. It was a little cloudy Saturday morning and I was able to sleep until noon.
Well jambase has the Lee Boys as playing All Good and I don't see them on the list, same thing with Soulive and Sam Bush. I'm thinking they might be in the future additions which kinda sucks cuz we know about them now.
This is such a fucking kiskass line up im buying my ticket next friday. u cant beat 2 nights of moe, plus lotus is one of the best bands on the scene right now, they should really get a late night spot, but im looking forward to seeing 2 sts9 late nights in a row.
i kinda read it as moe would play 2 sets not 2 nights. so i figured moe would be one of the 2 evening headliners and then come back out for the latenight allstar jam and sts9 would be the other latenight. but either way its going to be incredible!!!!!
EDIT--i just went back to the site and its definitely worded that way. so sts9 latenight one night and moe latenight all star jam in addition to a set right before the latenight allstar jam. so new album show 1st set>latenight all star jam second set.. i cant wait!!!!!!!!
i dont know where that leaves lotus. they do seem like a latenight show. cant imagine it would be nearly as good in the day time.
ALL GOOD is one of if not the worst festival around. And that is all based off of the crowd. Shady shady shady. And trashy. And dangerous. From pistol whippings on shakedown to the nitrous mafia almost beating a security guard to death.
i hear all those stories. and shakedown was the craziest i have ever been to but i witnessed none of that. and i was roaming the shakedown area all night until the sun came up. there were some gang banger types there that seemed out of place but they seemed to do their own thing and didnt harm my good time. althoguh i have no problem with people selling/using party favors. if you do it might not be for you. but thats all fests. all good is a little crazier on that front though. but it was an awesome peaceful place. those types of stories follow bisco where ever they go. most of the time they arent true. sometimes they are. most of the security people i saw where asking me if i needed any party favors not performing any type of security function. tanks were out in the open on shakedown and didnt seem to cause any problems with security. i saw security huffing balloons. but please dont let this review deter you from going. i went and recieved nothing but great peaceful vibes all weekend. it was a wonderful scene. i highly recommend iot to anyone!!
Yeah I've heard the stories but witnessed nothing like it. Everyone I met was cool and peacefull, security was great, the festival was run great last year. Until I actually see something extremely shady or something happens to me personaly then I'll have nothing but good things to say about it. There are people who have horror stores for every festival. A small percentage of people are always going to have some bad things to say, and usually they are the most vocal.
It's like they say in the restuarant biz: A person with a bad experience will tell 10 people, but a person with a good experience will only tell 1 person.
I thought All Good was excellent last year. great venue, great music, everyone was cool--I didn't witness any violence or any bad vibes, really. my camping neighbors were awesome, made coffee everyone morning and fed us a huge breakfast on Sat.
Shakedown was a little wild but not threatening. crowd looked a little rough but they weren't bothering anybody that I saw.
over the course of the last 3 bonnaroos I have seen some pretty bad violence and brazen theft. Last year some douche was leaving in the middle of the night and running over tents with no warning. could've killed someone
saw a guy get a bottle broken over his head at roo 05. never saw anything close to that at All Good. last year was the first time I've been to All Good, though.
It's just chance on how much shady stuff you see. Last year at All Good I had the best neighbors I've ever had at any festival. They were real chill and we would all go to shows together. I even keep in contact with them. At moe.down I got to experience the shady aspect of festivals. The people camped next to me didn't go see any music at all. They would take turns going out to "work" as they called it and basically sell drugs so they could have enough money to make it home. The one dude kept yelling "K Hole" at people, selling Ketamine I'm assuming. I still had a drink with them and was nice but I did worry about my stuff getting stolen when I was at shows. I still had a great time but I could easily start calling moe.down the worst/most shady fest I've ever been too but I know it was just the people next to me, not the festival. I still had an amazing time. I don't doubt a lot of those stories about All Good are true, but I think they are rare and could happen at any festival.
Yall are right. My point just is that as much as none of us want to believe it(myself included) there is a point when security can ba a little too laid back. And that creates an unsafe enviroment for everyone.
Does anybody remember where the RV section was last year? We are gonna head down with an RV this year and I'm just trying to think where we'll be camping. I can't find any aerial shots of the festival grounds, or at least ones of all the camping. I did find a good picture of the main stage area and the camgrounds behind it. People have asked about the venue before so if your interested you can find the photo here.
ya you cant see rv land in that pic. its over to the left. if you notice where the small rope-a-dope stage (thursday night was there) and the vendors were at the beginning of shakedown in that pic.. well the rv section was in a similar spot but on the left side of the stage.

As mentioned in another thread, there are rumors of Leftover Salmon getting back together for some gigs. If that happens I think there is a good chance they will be at All Good. Vince Herman, who is in Salmon, has been the grand marshall or whatever of All Good for awhile so if they play any festivals I'd think All Good would be one of them. Could always use some more bluegrass in the lineup. I was also thinking Jeff Austin (YMSB) could end up playing a solo set on the Magic Hat stage or Ropa-a-dope stage if they have that again. He did one a few years ago at All Good and he's done it at Summer Camp and in Colorado before.
