Wanee's actual website has not been updated, but if you goto mule.net you'll see the announcement above. This is my second favorite festival next to Bonnaroo. I had a blast there last year and this year looks even more promising. Allman Bros, Gov't Mule, DTB w/ Susan, Rose hill Drive, Robert Randolph..........Great lineup!
That's really awesome. I hadn't ever heard of it before. It's on my birthday this year, so maybe I can swing a trip out of it. Does the ABB play two nights?
Probably the coolest grounds I have ever been to. I caught a Further there in 2000. Great place, and people. Make sure you spend some time at Uncle Jerry's woodshop.
I know the Allmans headline both nights and Gov't Mule plays a 90min set before the Brothers on both fri and sat also. Last year the Derek Trucks Band played a late night set after the brothers and it was one of the best shows I saw all last year. I'm pumped for Rose Hill Drive....... I wish they were playing the late nite set this year. RHD should also come back to Bonnaroo.

check out: www.myspace.com/waneemusicfestival I did that webpage for the Fantasma guys. Pretty good little Voodoo Chile action from Robert Randolph in his earlier days. Wanee is a really cool festival. It has a nice, laid-back family feel to it. And Florida in April can sure prove promising (as far as weather goes).
Wanee is a freaking blast!! I loved the grounds it is held on and you cannot go wrong w/ that sick lineup. I bought a ticket as soon as they went on sale and now I cannot go due to school conflicts (I'm pissed). SO if anyone is looking for a discounted ticket, I only have 1, but PM me if interested.
Yea, this is absolutely rediculous.. I am freakin killing myself wanting to go to this and cant find anyone with any money or any interest. I am even offering to buy my friends ticket if he just pays me back eventually (actually have tried that with several people) and still no takers. What the %@!# is wrong with these kids these days. Shit evan, how much sleep you plan on getting @ Wanee?
Just decided to go afterall. Can't fucking wait!! This years lineup is great and this is the perfect thing to hold me over before 'roo. Hell I think I like this lineup more than B'roo. And i read on jambase they are filming it.
Wanee was great......I love the way its setup w/ the woods and all. The 2nd stage sounds so good too. Rose Hill Drive was the highlight for me. If anyone hasn't seen them live, do yourself a favor and check them out.
Wanee was awesome. Saw Derek Trucks Band w/ Susan Tedeschi up the front of the stage for the midnight set. Very cool, however the highlight of the festival was Robert Randolph and the Family Band jamming with Derek Trucks and Daniel Sproul.

I love the campgrounds and the Mushroom stage, I'll likely go again next year. I would have gone last year but it fell on Easter weekend and couldn't just ditch my family...
