NOTE: Anyone else concerned about a potential Greyboy Allstars/Disco Biscuits/MMW/Franti and Spearhead clash on Saturday? If all four of those bands (or even two at a time) are playing simultaneously I don't know what I'll do with myself...
MMW vs Bisco would make me cry and stomp my feet like a little girl... I've only seen MMW twice and dont get too many chances but missing a Biscuits show within my reach would be blasphemy.

It's a distinct possibility and it makes me sick. I've never seen MMW live. Every time I'm at a festival where they play, there's something that makes me miss them. And I love the Biscuits, so I don't know what I'm going to do. Probably float between the two shows.
My priority for those shows goes as follows:
1) Greyboy Allstars 2) MMW 3) Disco Biscuits 4) Michael Franti and Spearhead
but I'd like to see all of them. Well, we'll see how things play out.

A good thing about Langerado is the stages aren't miles apart so tent/stage hopping is really quick unlike roo where the walk from The Other to the What Stage is long and crowded.

so far there's been no mention of a locals stage like they had last year, that was the only stage where you had to walk away from the main stage area to get to.
TREY WARMS UP LANGERADO Trey Anastasio has added a very intimate gig to his Langerado weekend. On Thursday March 8, Trey will be performing on the inside stage at Revolution to help kick-start Langerado weekend.
Tickets for this show go on-sale Friday February 2 at 5pm EST and will ONLY be available to those who have purchased Langerado 3-day festival passes. Music Today will be emailing special access codes to those who have already purchased Langerado festival passes on Friday afternoon. There is a 4-ticket limit for this show. Doors for this show will be at 7pm, show starts at 8pm and it will be taking place inside Revolution.

Last year Umphrey's was a 3+ hour late night with two full sets. Their fest show was pretty blah but the late night was blistering.
And the inside of Revolution for Trey is SMALL!! A coulple hundred people max. The outdoor area has STS9 playing at the same time and it holds maybe twice what the indoor does.

That's exactly what I'm worried about with all of these acts doing late night shows. I don't want phoned in festival sets just because they've played three hours the night before or are going to play three hours that night.
I'm looking forward to Trey, STS9, and the Biscuits, and they all have night sets I'm not attending. Hope they still give it their all.

Well I'm not sure how the other late nights went compared to the day but last year I heard Umphreys played in Chicago the night before, flew into FL and hit the stage within an hour of getting there. So the rush to FL was the cause for their weak day show. They did three shows in a 24 period. Damn!

I saw the Drive By Truckers/Rose Hill Drive late night last year and had a blast, had a friend who didn't make the next night late night cause of the traffic but this year the shuttles take care of that problem

Bet your ass the Biscuits will seriously bring the heat latenight, its just what they do. They're the only latenight i have right now, gotta get on Pgroove and STS9 before stuff starts selling out...
i just bought my fest ticket. i need to buy plane tix still, but will likely do that this weekend. i'm gonna have to skip sunday due to monday obligations, but i'm excited for the 2 nights of Trey plus a night of MMJ, not to mention everything that a festival brings and all the great music on this lineup. should be great!! see you all there.

Im skipping Trey, $30 + Shuttle/Cab is too much... Already have Bisco and Pgroove, will most likely be getting STS9 later this month, i wont cry if it sells out though...
Sucks the shuttles aren't free, this is undoubtedly the most expensive festival in the US... Has everything to do with the site and location i imagine...
If somebody planned on camping on site (more expensive tix) and hitting up all the late nights, it could really start to rack up in a hurry. I can't believe they're whacking people for the shuttles like that.

also the time of year. Spring Break for most college/hs kids.
I spoke with Adam a while back so as not to step on any toes and got very sidetracked with holidays and stuff but better late then never. Plus this will stay up year round. In years past when they had an offical board they deleted everything for the new year so all old FAQs etc were lost. And last year had a nice thread on all the etree downloads after the fest and it was all lost. So now we are permanent.
Anyway, please sign up and use it if you think it will be more user friendly than just this single thread.
And if any of you want to help MOD I'm happy to set you up.
I also put a plug and link to Inforoo to cross pollinate. It will take a while to get things going (see infogoose) but once it's rolling we're golden.
