I'm a lurker. I'll admit it. COLLEGE is lame, sometimes i think i should get a 40 hr x5 day a week job. Sitting in these classes makes my back hurt more than Bonnaroo ever will. I dont even know what i want to do. I am sitting in American Gov. class wondering about when String Cheese will finally do another show. While this clown is telling me how i should vote. College is so f#cked. Its nothing but professors plugging numbers, dates and terms into my head, while they are pushing their own views on everything they teach us. Fubar. History could be so much more interesting if it wasnt always the United States version of History.
Sorry..thats just how I feel about things. I got my negative view out for the day I feel much better.
Stick it out and get your degree Mulcherry. It will make a big difference regardless of what you do after school.

/agree.
Last week I discovered that a subject I took an entire class on ended up being exactly what I needed to know to complete something for work, and make it look absolutely fantastic.
Even if you never did learn something in college.. you spent a lot of time wracking your brain working on things. When you get out, you'll find you can still set your brain into that "wtfomgigottagetthisdone!!" mode, shift the head into high gear, and do it. Not to say folks who didn't go can't "think hard", but the more you think(about different things), especially academic ones, the faster you can do it later.
Oh, and yes, there are professors out there who are effin idiots, there are also professors that are insanely bright, and there many of both types will press their views upon you. Nothing you can really do about that but stick it out..

*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
I actually had a blast in mine, our professor was quite conservative but also open minded. When he did express his own opinion he would always preface it by saying "This is my own personal opinion, I encourage you to disagree with me" which I found funny.
