for those of us that do smoke. figured we could figure out where we could pick up the cheapest cartons of cigarettes driving from different directions.
ill be coming from maryland. i figured id pick them up in virginia. but ive never been to tennessee, what are the prices like?
We have a rolling machine and are rolling our own american spirits to take down there. That's really cheap but tenn should be cheaper than here in MD. We can stop on the way down suena! ;D

I stopped in Kentucky last year, I think it was... those were cheap, but really, anything on the way down there is, compared to michigan.
Oh I hate michigan's tobacco prices... I always take a couple cartons up there on my way up for the summer I'll probably bring at least two cartons for roo ... plus whatever my fellow travlers bring... they are cheap here
Definetly bring double what you think you are gonna smoke. The first year I went my friend and I brought a carton to split and it was gone midday saturday.
You know thats a great idea man.. I'm probably visiting a friend in Ocean City sometime before the roo, can always swing up into Delaware and stock up..
Here at the tobacco barn in Manchester a carton of Marlboros is about 23 bucks. Thats only 2.30 per pack.
I think before roo, I am going to buy about 3 cartons and try to sell them for 5 a pack.
On a side note: augusts comment about smokers sticking together these days reminds me of a funny skit I saw George Carlin do about smokers being an endangered species.
Anyone every see that?
He said: you can take your kid to the smokers exhibit at the airport and see an endangered species.
They keep them in a glass enclosed room. "See honey, it's smokers. I remember when I was your age, they were everywhere, running freely amongst us"
I guess it was more funny hearing Carlin do it!

Dennis Leary's no cure for cancer is funny as well
Dennis Leary is one of the funniest guys when it comes to smoking.
I like it when he said "You can put them in a black package, with a skull and crossbones on it, charge $25 dollars a pack and call them death, and people will still go buy them."

here in AZ a carton of non-throat-burning cigs are around 45-60 dollars. Thankfully I live down the street from a indian reservation cig shop! Good cigs are around 28 there.

If you smoke, be sure to stop by the smoker's lounge in Centeroo. In years past they handed out 2 packs of free American Spirits of your choice. You have to complete a form and show ID. You can chill out and smoke in there. It's Air Conditioned.
