Ok this is going to sound weird, but I just had a flat and it slipped off the jack while I was changing it.!!! I thought I was going to lose a leg, but it stopped short of hitting me. When I looked over Warren Haynes was standing with his hands on hips holding it up with his beard. I said thanks man, and he just said "Your life was saved by Rock and Roll", and walked away.

I was watching "Being John Malkovich" the other night - some new director's cut, I think. The scene where John Malkovich crawls through the portal into his own head, instead of everyone looking like him, they all looked like Warren Haynes. There was also this wildly explicit sex scene with Catherine Keener, Cameron Diaz, and a chimpanzee. But the scene with all the Warrens running around was what stuck with me.

I volunteer at a medical clinic on weekends (I'm a giver, what can I say) and this morbidly obese woman came in with a bowel obstruction. We did a colonoscopy and it turns out the obstruction was Warren Hayes. He'd been in there for a while and was bummed that more people weren't looking for him (hint). But he was so thrilled to get out that, after he cleaned up a bit, he played a little show for us.

^ That is a little upsetting to hear right now, because he just served me my lunch at the Olive Garden. So I really do hope he cleaned up a bit more than a "bit"

I just saw him at Safeway, he was in the checkout line wearing a trench coat and Buddy Holly glasses. I smiled at him and he nodded, picked up his groceries, stepped out into the snow and disappeared.
