sour=sauer=sauerkraut=krauss is a bit of a long shot,
plus, plants arent really sewn into the earth, they grow. seeds are sewn.
I guess so. It just doesn't seem like more of a long shot than any other guess. Plants grow from seeds if you want to get technical about it and every time I see Allison Krauss's name I think of sauerkraut so I guess that is why I think that one is a lock. Just my crazy mind I guess
But, the action of sewing seeds is Planting= Plant
omg josh homme is my lover! i would freak out if i got to see them at bonnaroo! i was at that QOTSA show at the orange peel. ...i didn't get to meet him though =( did you happen to see jack white hanging out in the sound booth, kittyroo?
Nope because I was being greedy up front...would not budge for anything. I am a even bigger WS fan so I was kinda bummed when I heard Jack was there.
Yay Orange Peel! I've seen so many great shows there!

I think the way the Desert clue works is this way: What's in the Desert? Oasis-Isn't
Oasis had been mentioned for a coupleof the previous clues and maybe this clue was their way of saying they aren't playing.......then again Oasis seems like the obvious answer for the others

1) Let's keep this thread clear of off topic posts, unlike the last thread!
2) I think "what's in the desert isn't" clearly refers to a mirage-- they are found in the desert, but aren't really there. But I can't connect mirage to any likely band. Any guesses?
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."
Clue #2 20 minutes later she said " Memphis isnt Albany" Changed to "Memphis aint Illbany"
"There is more than one Memphis. This is not a clue just an observation."
BB King Beastie Boys
Okay, 2 things.
Has anyone ever made mention of the Disco Biscuits song ME.M.P.H.I.S.?
Also, the worst part about this whole thing is there has been so much going into this line-up thing, that even after we find out the line-up we won't be at Bonnaroo for another 4 months..........sucks.

lol, i get you. I agree some of these are REAL long shots.... honestly the only one i am confident that we have the right asnwer to is the "Janis Joplin" clue.
and plant/krauss are good enough as confirmed so it could be.
i still dont think it is, but who knows what these crazy dj's are thinking!

Well common sense would tell you that "mirage" is the answer to that one but then again how much has common sense helped ever since these clues started.

They didn't start yesterday with new clues till later didn't they? And maybe if they have the announcment tonight they don't feel the need for clues anymore

I'm not particularly keen on Oasis at Bonnaroo, but does everyone think that Bonnaroo Radio is giving us clues on who WILL NOT be there? I thought they would probably only give us clues on bands that WILL.

Solving half of a riddle doesn't mean you get to twist the other half into a more pleasing shape.
I'm not saying the Plant part is wrong... I just don't see the Alison Krauss connection (yet).

Agreed. I think the "Janis" one is the one for sure. Since Plant/Krauss are already pretty much confirmed, I feel like there has to be a clue about them in there somewhere and that seems like the most likely candidate to me.

I don't think it's a matter of themgiving clues as to who will or will not but they are responding to us.....they have given clues that tell us we are looking too hard and that we are right why not give us clues that tell us our guess is wrong
