Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Can someone please tell me where this rumor started? Dave and Friends hasn't been around for three years and they haven't released any additional albums. They aren't touring, nor have said anything about touring...as far as I know.
Dave Matthews Band is touring this summer. So D&F single show seems unlikely. Does someone know something I don't?

I like DMB...but the idea of T. Reynolds, Trey, Phil, etc.. on stage with Dave is a pretty exciting thought for alot of folks and everyone wants to dream
well i think people were kinda just throwin that out there BUT Dave has a contractual obligation to do another solo record and he does have some stuff thats been gettin played full bamd that could be solo stuff. I see DMB playin more than Dave & Friends and Dave & Friends has played as recently as '06 on the Dave & Friends Cruise two years ago TODAY. I would rank the forms of Dave as so:
DMB Dave & Tim Dave & Friends
These are ALL GREAT ACTS!! I LOVE ALL forms of Dave!!! lol

I think it has just come from the fact that they are one of the possible options for headliners and because it's been a few years since he played. For me, it is because I love Dave more than any other musician so he is just top of my wish list
I would love it if Dave was there with the band or not. 2005 was WONDERFUL show!! What do you all think? I see them live at least 4 times a year, but 2005 Bonnaroo was one of the best!
if dave comes in any form i hope WSP aren't there. Not that there is any reason for the 2 to come together or anything but there was just too much frat rock in 2005 (DMB, WSP, and Jack Johnson= frat rock overload).
I would love to have dave and friends there, I saw them on there initial tour in 2003 and it was one of the best shows Ive ever seen....great covers, great energy, great show.
I think I would enjoy a Dave and Tim midnight show. Love Dave Matthews Band, but the five shows I have been to the setlist has been about the same. Maybe if he is at the 'Roo he will toss it up a little.
Close your eyes. Picture a convict. What's he wearing? Nothing special, baseball cap on backwards, baggy pants... he says something ordinary like... 'yo, thats shizzle.' Okay. Now slowly open your eyes again. Who are you picturing? A black man? Wrong. That was a white woman. Surprised? Well, shame on you.

“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” -Benjamin Franklin
I don't think D&F is that far fetched. Lots of bands/groups play just Roo even when they are not touring or putting an album out. So while DMB may be more likely, I would not count out D&F. Besides, even if it is DMB, most shows at roo end up as *** & Friends anyway!
While I prefer Dave and Friends or Dave & Tim, I will be happy with Dave and anyone. Always a great show.

I <3 the song Halloween one of my top 3 dave songs. I have yet to see it live! I would love to see dave and tim...but I'll take DMB...pass on dave and friends.
