Also, can anyone get back to me on that glowstick thing?
What Bonnaroo needs is better light shows, so that glow sticks aren't needed. As a transitional aid, flareguns could be given out at late night shows, for everyone to fire into the air. This would be more ecologicaly friendly and would result in a lot fewer inujuries.

Don't get me wrong, I've listened to some of their live stuff, and I know they have a big enough sound and enough energy to fill that stage, but I do not think they have as big of a draw as Flips or SCI for latenight Which stage, much less a headline slot.
My Morning Jacket can put on a spectacle of a show given the chance.
I'm with you there. I loved their giant ... puppets? ... mascots? ... whatever they were in ... '05.
I'm not a strictly jamband fan but I'd be fine with them closing out the festival. I agree with others that they are much more likely for a Thursday headlining, pre Pearl Jam What stage or closing out Which stage. I don't know that they'll do another late night this year since their last one was their last Roo appearance and was both epic and legendary.

i think they will either be in the spot king of leon were in last year or on the which stage either in the spot white stripes had last year or late night. i think late night which stage is most likely.
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."
this is tough. i think if they were the sunday headliner..everyone would definately go see them because its the sunday headliner. but i think being more realistic they will get either late night which stage or day time what stage. i agree with the fact that now they are just too big for a late night tent.
but to answer ur question...i'd rather the dead or a member of the dead to close the fest this year.
I would be rather bummed, not really my thing, but as a jam fan, panic still isn't my thing really either, but it beats the flying fuck out leaving early which seems to be the thing to do the last couple of years for a good chunk of the roo population, are these the same people you see filing out of the stadium before the game is over? Never understood that.
