Did somebody already post this? Its a rumor wishful thinking rag but it is quoting the Mirror. This is a rumor thread.
"Scuttlebutt that Led Zeppelin was going to headline the Bonnaroo festival this June started back in December—only to be subsequently denied by the festival's management shortly after. But the Mirror is claiming that Led Zep's headlining gig is back on, thanks to Robert Plant having a "change of heart." (Maybe the Bonnaroo organizers enticed him with the prospect of playing a bluegrass set as well?"
I really think it might be Zeppelin. There have just been sooo many false starts and rumors over the past months about them headlining Roo that it seems like it has to be true. The thing I keep going back to is that newsletter by the industry guy saying it would be Zep and Metallica. We all thought and hoped he was wrong about Metallica, but then, there they are...who knows, though. Maybe it'll be the Eagles.

According to a message board over on ledzeppelin.com, Jason will be in Europe on the 15th for some sort of Drum Festival. Obviously, this could be canceled, but I just wanted to throw it out there for the rumor thread.

Unless the drum festival is paying Jason more than $1 million, it can probably be rescheduled.

Because of his duets project with Alison Krauss, Robert Plant has been initiated into the world of country music.
"I mean, I knew about Don Gibson and all the great writers," Robert said. He was a country fan early, "but I got preoccupied for 30 years. I didn't realize that George Jones is as good as he is. I know about the Singing Fisherman," he said of Johnny Horton.
When asked about a Led Zeppelin tour, Robert jokes, "The immunity to penicillin is over." I just love a romantic. Tickets for Alison and Robert's July 19 Sommet Center show go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
I just heard on my radio news coming in that rumors are surrounding led zeppelin getting in the studio to rehearse in england. More later if I find the ap on this
April 16, 2008 - One of the most unusual artistic pairings in recent years came when Alison Krauss teamed up with Led Zeppelin founder Robert Plant for the album "Raising Sand," leading to a Grammy award for the duo earlier this year.
Now Alison and Robert are set to hit the road this Saturday, kicking off the tour in Louisville, Ky., and playing dates in Europe and the U.S. through July 19, when the trek winds down in Nashville. They've also now been booked, according to Billboard, for the Austin City Limits Festival Sept. 26-28.
The two first met in person in 2002 when they played a tribute to Leadbelly sponsored by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Particularly given the wild reputation that Zeppelin developed, Alison was surprised at just how down-to-earth Robert seemed.
"He talked about Ralph Stanley — that's like the first thing he said — and he talked about driving through the Appalachians with his long hair and hoping that nobody saw him," she told The Louisville Courier-Journal. "Just a really nice, charming, funny person, always looking to be inspired by music, and a very passionate person. I don't know anybody who doesn't get charmed by him."
Rumors have circulated for months of a possible Zeppelin reunion tour following the jaunt with Alison. If that does occur, she's not expecting to get an invite to play with Robert and the reassembled gang.
"I imagine," she laughed, "when this tour is over, he'll have had enough of me."

I pray for this, OH how I pray for this. I had given up on this rumor with superfly denying Zeppelin's presence at Roo, but now I have to believe, I have to. I mean Metallica's publicists denied them being at Roo, but what do you know, they are a headliner.
LED ZEPPELIN: 'Immigrant Song' Remix Due This Summer? - Apr. 17, 2008 Twisted Ear reports that LED ZEPPELIN is rumored to have been in contact with PENDULUM — a drum and bass group originally hailing from Perth, Australia but now based in the United Kingdom — to remix ZEPPELIN's classic track "Immigrant Song", to be released at some point over the summer.
LED ZEPPELIN has so far not commented on the news, while the PR for PENDULUM revealed: "We just know they wanted someone cool to do a remix for some stuff they've got coming up."
It is believed that the PENDULUM remix will form part of the package that sees "Immigrant Song" released as the band's first single.
The remix has already been previewed on BBC Radio 1, where PENDULUM appeared as guest DJs.
