i don't mean to be a downer, but there was just a robert plant interview on MSG (knicks TV station), and it went SOMETHING like this:
(i won't take many liberties with info, just give you the idea)
reporter: any chance you're gonna play here in NY anytime soon? plant: well i don't know what's around the corner for us. but i'm touring with allison kraus now and putting all my energy behind that, so i don't know. it's tough when your involved with a different project.
seemed like he wasnt giving any chance for a reunion .
possibly intentional? i don't know. it didn't make me encouraged....
Has anyone given thought to Robert Plant's voice in all of this. I know he protects it very carefully. He didn't even sing in reheasals for the O2 show. I really don't see him singing with Allison and another act whether it's Led Zeppelin, Superjam, or whatever. I also believe he would take some time off between tours.

I would rather them not play at Roo cuz prices would soar, however, a friend that is a guitar cable rep/ guitarist in Black Label Society, that has alot of friends and connections, says he heard from a reliable source that endorses Jimmy Page that they will be there...So take it as you may, but he has been a reliable source of music info.....
Uh oh. Not really the news Roo fans wanted to hear : (

Led Zeppelin will not play together again until at least September, according to the band’s guitarist Jimmy Page.
Speaking in Tokyo this morning (January 28th), Page said that Robert Plant’s touring commitments with Alison Krauss were currently the frontman’s main priority.
"I can assure you the amount of work that we put into the O2 (concert), for ourselves rehearsing and the staging of it, was probably what you put into a world tour," Page told Reuters. Story continues below...
"Robert Plant also had a parallel project running and he's really busy with that project, certainly until September, so I can't give you any news."
Reminiscing about the concert, which saw over 1 million people register for just 9000 pairs of tickets, the guitarist described the experience as “exhilarating” and “fantastic”.
“Every week was a week to look forward to, we did the show and it was great,” he added
"We're no longer called Sonic Death Monkey. We're on the verge of becoming Kathleen Turner Overdrive, but just for tonight, we are Barry Jive and his Uptown Five. "

This man came up to me just the other day, asked me I'd been born again. I told him, "I didn't think I had." That I had been rejected. But I think, Hell's got all the good bands anyway. And Bonnaroo.
