As delicious as the surprise Zeppelin show idea is, I don't think Superfly could pass on all the publicity and hype that would be inevitable in the wake of a Led Zep announcement. They couldn't even wait to announce JPJ last year, even though they've never spoiled a Superjam before the fest started. A Led Zep/Pearl Jam/Anyone else headliner bill would put Roo head and shoulders above any other American fest. I don't think Roo could resist. They will try to book Zep. and if they are successful they will announce it as soon as they can.
Precisely. They get LZ, you can bet your ass it'll leak days before the announcement, much like The Police.
I don't know why everyone is thinking Pearl Jam. They headlined Lolla last year, why would they headline this? Additionally, I don't think Radiohead will be there either. I also think that would be a stale line up, considering it's nothing new or refreshing, even though I love those bands to death.
Led Zeppelin is a major possibility and I'd count on it... big time.

From the article:
According to Billboard, during a gig in Cincinnati on November 17, Astbury said: "We'll be back next year, because we're opening for a band you may have heard of. The name starts with an 'L' and has a 'Z' in it."
No way.... Lesbian Zebras reunited???? I'm SOOO there!!!!
If Zep tour, I think there's a pretty darn tootin' good chance they'll be at the 'Roo. JPJ seemed to get around a lot last year, so it'd make sense. As much as I'd like Radiohead, I just don't know yet. They're touring America in May and June, but would 'Roo book them again so soon? (My guess is yes, since they've booked other bands back-to-back years). I'm also thinking the Cure might have a pretty good chance of headlining. They'll be around TN around 'Roo time
If the Led Zeppelin rumors are true, it will be next to impossible to get in on that early bird ticketing. Oh well, full price would definitely be worth it!
Thats the beauty of early bird tickets no lineup only speculation and rumors. They were an easy buy for me last year and I feel they will be an easy buy this year just be ready the minute they go on sale.
With the whole Arcade Fire and Bruce Springsteen relationship I could see both of them at Roo. Most definately Arcade Fire, I saw them here in Louisville and it was an amazing show, I became an instant fan.
Then there's Radiohead and Mars Volta both touring soon.
There was a rumor of a Pink Floyd reunion tour.
Here's a bunch that I would like to see and you all should check out the ones you haven't heard of:
Yeasayer, Devendra Banhart, Caribou, Low, Grizzly Bear, Destroyer, LCD Soundsystem, Band of Horses, Battles, Deerhunter, God is an Astronaut, Explosions in the Sky, Mogwai, This Will Destroy You, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Iron & Wine, TV on the Radio, The Black Angels, The Dolly Rocker Movement, Entrance, Emotron, Pelican, Sigur Ros, My Morning Jacket, The Decemberists, Priestbird, mewithoutYOU

Foo Fighters are touring arenas next year. Thay could defnitly headline.
I see the foos as an afternoon/early evening spot on what stage
As do I. I've never even been to Bonnaroo, but I'll wage that I will be there this year. Zeppelin will fit in nicely with my 2 week road trip with friends. Oh yeah.

If the Foo Fighters were to play, the only way I see them not headlining would be if they played an acoustic set or were opening for something absolutely huge, like Led Zeppelin or Boss/E Street.
I honestly dont see these Zeppelin rumors panning out but I wouldn't mind being proven wrong.

A little My Bloody Valentine News:
They are not playing Coachella according to their manager (Oh, and they will be releasing their new album via the internet like Radiohead) so maybe they will choose Bonnaroo to be their first US show.

^^^It says their tour kicks off in London on 6/20, which is either after Bonnaroo (probably 12-15) or possibly during. I think it's a next-to-nothing chance. Lolla, perhaps?
