As far as the food goes, nothing beat the funnel cakes. I think a God (not sure who's God just pick one) made those things. Me and my friend would buy one, sit by a tree and offer to anyone sittin near. We met a ton of cool people munchin down on em. Also, when i paid 4 or 5 bucks for a corn dog I was pissed. That was until i saw that corndog was a damn dinner it was so big. So no complaints on food. Im with a few others on the beer tent but my friend who didnt get to go last is stoked about it. He loves trying out new beer. Definitely do somethin about the comedy tent. And I think any and all drugs found goin into centeroo should be returned to the owner and not to the guys pocket. The idea about maps at intersections was good, i got lost going back to camp after Volta, after doing way too much stuff. Made a 1 mile walk into about a 6 mile journey for the ages. I loved the movie tent, you could rest for 30 minutes to an hour in the cool and toke up.
"4.fire that yuppie security prick who took my bowl and stash and put it in his pocket last year"
ahaha, we must've run into the same dude last year. Dude, reached in my pocket and snatched an eighth right from my fucking pocket and put it in his! bastard!
As far as what I would change - I would put a second band on the side stage during the headliner. I would also have a few shorter late night set, say til 2 or 3 AM, on THURSDAY night. But that's about it :-)
One thing I would change is to add another entrance to centerroo like they had 2 year ago. We had to walk around VIP to get to centerroo last year. It really created another 10 minute walk. Other then that maybe some other food selections that are different. I cant really say I would change much, it is a great festival.
I would have to say 1) damn straight- get rid of that shitty beer tent, and 2) stop the nitrous party that seems to happen right outside of my tent every night at 4am when I am trying to get some shut eye. Other then that- I think Roo is nigh perfect- although the giant shade idea is pretty cool...

man i would make the roo website more like 10klf. the 10klf is a month after roo and they already have the schedule up. i also like their artist info/jukebox system better

some one really should email roo and tell them NOT to make us walk around the VIP to get to centeroo.
Last year the put the VIP right on the boarder of centeroo, and anyone coming from the back lot camping area had to walk all the way around when they couldve just made a passage thru VIP.

instead of large almost square mist tents, put long mist tents in that would run just 2 noozles by maybe 30. Spread the roof out to compensate for the shade provided under a skinnier tent.
yes another entrance instead of walking around centeroo. This was coming from the 007 camp in nowhere land last year.
One thing I hate is the extremely bright lights that shine in your eyes near the main stage. If you are standing back and to the right from the stage, the lights near the VIP seats shine right in your eyes. Very annoying! They need to point them up the hill a little bit.

I don't think there'd be much demand for that, Hilari. Most people drive & camp by their cars, so there's no need to lug stuff into Centeroo and put it in a locker. I know it would be really useful for some people, but I don't think it would be useful for enough people to justify them hauling in a whole locker/key/coin-op set-up into the middle of a farm.
It would have to be waterproof too, and most of those facilities aren't built for the outdoors so that would pose a serious problem. Unless you put it under a tent, which means even more $$ & space expended....
I like the idea of having one show close it out. I think it's a good experience and contributes to the community vibe of the event for all the stages to go dark save one, and the community comes together for one last final f*ck yea! I really wouldn't have it any other way.
As far as late nights thursday, that's a no-brainer and well overdue.

Yea I am with ya on the Sunday gathering. It's really a chilling time to make your way to the last show on Sunday night. Knowing everyone will come together and bid farewell to yet another great Bonnaroo experience. It is a great feeling of unity. Almost an obligation it feels like. Something you dont look forward to but love it so much!
i too enjoy the final show at roo. but i dont think youd have to lose that. just have phil take the stage at 11 or 12. make the sunday headline a latenight and have bands on all stages/tents all day long on sunday
allright...this is not intended to be about the lineup...so none of that!
if you could change some things to make roo more enjoyable what would you change?
The Answer to this question is NOTHING! We are all currently a part of a website that gives us our bonnaroo fix until the 13 days subside and you want to cahnge something. I agree little nit-picky things could be changed here and there. and why? to make us more comfortable at a 90-100 degree, rainy, s**t-slopped piece of farm property. HE** NO!
I love Bonnaroo from the sores on my feet, the burn on my skin, and the cheese on my nuts when I go home the smelliest Ba**ard I can be!
BOOOOOOONNNNNAAAAARRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I am happy in different ways. KJ
