Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I listen to classic rock, rock, alternative, hip-hop, some rap, jazz, funk, jazzfunk, phish, metal, a lil country, and many other things that i could never categorize.
An ardent fan of Radiohead, all this negative talk about what crowds they'll bring is disappointing, I think everyone should just chill out and have a good time.
"Man and his deed are two distinct things...a good deed should call forth approbation a a wicked deed disapprobation, the doer of the deed, whether good or wicked, always deserves respect or pity as the case may be. 'Hate the sin and not the sinner' is a precept which, though easy enough to understand, is rarely practicsed (sic), and that is why the poison of hatred spreads in the world." -Ghandi

I am a music junkie, record collecting, show going, indie snob, hipster whore bag.
I just like music. I start listening and go for the ride. I believe a series of coincidences bring bands to me, I do not find any of them. They find me.

I'm a sexy, sexy girl.
End.
...I heard about Bonnaroo when trying to find Bright Eyes concerts - so I guess that makes me emo? ...I'm seventeen and still in highschool - so I guess I'm not really what people are lookin' for when they think about how awesome this summer's gonna be.
But I'm also going for the same reason as everyone else who's trekking the WORLD for the same extraordinary experience.
I just like music. I start listening and go for the ride. I believe a series of coincidences bring bands to me, I do not find any of them. They find me.
I feel the same way! Music always finds me...Once there was a really strange coincidence...the day I discovered the Disco Biscuits...my friend...miles away...on a plane home from Hawaii found a Disco Biscuits CD in the little seat pocket on the plane. It was weird..but sweet.
I'm counting on great music surrounded by lots of people actually having a great time around each other. Even if a group was only coming to see one or two bands in particular the vibe will be inclusive. I'm planning on fun, good beer, glow stick wars and some great memories to mark the summer of '06.
I was originally going to see Radiohead, Beck, Ben Folds, Tom Petty and Elvis Costello. But now I could care less about them, I'm going to meet all of you lovely people and buy a spinach mozzadilla on shakedown street

This will be my second roo, went last year; and I hope to find new music like I did last time. Looking forward to meeting you all, and hope to see Tea Leaf Green added. Good Luck

Hi, I'm Drew and this is my first post.
I'm from Baltimore and music is my escape from the corporate world. I like jazz (especially hard bop), blues, bluegrass, some hard rock, and quite a few jambands. I was drawn in to the jamband scene by Gov't Mule and then thought the Flecktones were amazing after seeing them in 2004. I did my first 'Roo last year and hope to go again this year.

There's an incredible local sax player named Ron Holloway that shows up all over the place in the Baltimore/DC area. He's played with Gov't Mule, The Codetalkers, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks Band at shows around here.
I wouldn't call Bill Frisell hard bop, but I like him. I saw him with a trio back in August, it was a good show.
I like the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Jeff Coffin Mu'tet, Danny Gatton and Funhouse, Charlie Hunter, Derek Trucks Band, Prescription Trio, Ulu, DJ Williams Projekt and I was introduced to the type of music by Herbie Hancock and the Headhunters.
I'm monique. Originally from Ohio and now residing in Brooklyn NY. This will be my 4th roo, I had to miss last year's because my sister was graduating from college. I like good music. It makes me happy. I am a social worker in the AIDS center at a NY hospital. That's me in a nutshell. oh and i love my kitty fiona
I'm just your average tattoo covered, hippie loving Marine - if such a thing exists. I dig pretty much all kinds of music - well maybe not so much emo - and my all time favorite is Sublime. But as far as I'm concerned good music is good music, no matter what genre it is. I'm making the trip down from Philly for what will be my first Roo - I've been wanting to go for the past few years, but other obligations have prevented it. Some of the acts I'm more excited to see are Blues Traveler, G. Love, Cypress Hill, Phil Lesh, Rusted Root, Les Claypool, and Petty.

i like anything that makes me think or feel, any music that gets a heartfelt response. I used to be more hard-core jam - phish to be precise, but theres so much other stuff to listen to out there. Lately ive been digging som indie-ish stuff, more the spacy psychedelia or blissed out slow moving stuff rather than sad bastard/emo stuff .Yet i am loyal to my jammy roots! We have the best scene!
I'm me and you are you, let's just get to the motherf*#kin' BONNAROOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Good tunes, good grass, good friends and good food, well at my tent anyway.

I'm Kelli. I'm 21. I'm obsessed with The Smashing Pumpkins. Other than that, I like a lot of indie rock and indie pop. Rap & classic rock are cool with me as well. I like beer & soco and I'm very 420 friendly. Everything else isn't my thing though. I'm super excited for Bonnaroo, as it will be my first.

I just bought my tickets to my FIRST Bonnaroo. I’ve seen tons of shows and several of this year’s acts before but I’ve never been to a festival like this. My wife and I saw Petty together back in 1991, so this will be kind of an anniversary vacation for us. Getting away from kids and jobs and real life should be a lot of fun. The Lineup for this year is Unbelievable! So many acts that I want to see! I can’t wait!!!!
Here’s a few of the shows I’ve seen:
The Police – 1985, Petty – ’90 &’91, Buddy Guy -’95, Lollapalooza – 1991-94, Mars/System – ‘05
i'm ryan, 33 y/o. w/b coming w/ my wife,w/whom has been w/me every year.. i fell in love w/the roo when i first set foot on the farm in '04.. this'll be my third year.. and the music i like is, something as such, to quote eminem:
" nothing soothes me more than a groove that moves me"
... i like all music w/soul, and music that's true...that's why i love roo so much.. so much good music it's almost confusing.. 1st timers beware of the head spinning effect..
this will be my first roo. i've wanted to go before but could never get out there. i couldn't pass up this years incredible lineup though. radiohead, beck, death cab, bright eyes. hoping to find some new bands and meet some cool new people.
hey i'm pat . love bonnaroo. i would buy a lifetime pass if i could. i don't care who plays. it's the best time ever . all the music. meeting new friends. just 4 days of heaven. peace and bonnarooo
Yo its Nick here representin the MN and UW-Madison...im a first timer to 'roo and looking forward to it (tryed to go before but didnt work out). Definite Radiohead fiend, but also looking forward to beck, oysterhead, tp, moe., ets. Looking forward to meeting some chill peeps and having a blast.

I would think that the best thing to do is not to expect this festival to be anything but what it is, a huge concert, a city, a melting pot of people. If you are worried that it is going to be something you will see it as that. I am sure that there will be neo-punks and emo kids and jam people, don't limit yourself. everyone will add a new flavor to the festival, I think it will be fantastic!!!
