We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Shit, dude, that's a hell of a twofer. Yeah, when I first heard Shallow Grave a few years ago, I was stunned that he wasn't so much bigger. Now that he's put out another tremendous album and a great LP and is so much bigger, I'm still a huge fan.

And speaking of Bon Iver, rumor is they'll be putting out their next album spring of next year. Perfect timing for Bonnaroo. And it's supposed to be more layered than For Emma (heard there were 80 tracks on one song) and really incredible. We'll see.

It was pretty incredible... When Justin Vernon came out and introduced Kristian he said he was the greatest song writer around. After the show i had to agree with him.

One of my favorites from the Austin music scene, Gary Clark Jr., performing at the 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival.
If you are ever around Austin on a Sunday night stop by the fantastic blues jam at Friends on Sixth Street and see Gary, Erin Jaimes, Zapata and a lot of other talented artist playing till the early morning hours..

The new Kid Cudi album is really growing on me. Song number 14, "The End" sounds throwback, and GLC's part has a Big Boi flavor to it. The song is produced by Blended Babies, who are hot. Smoooooooth! Give it a spin.
