I just got done listening to Kings of Leon-Youth and Young Manhood. Anyone who hasn't listened to them should check em. They're especially good after a long night of drinking like last night

Right now Umphreys McGee Next up I'm feelin some Jeff Austin and Chris Castino... Or maybe just some Yonder Mountain String Band?? All I know is that Jeff has one kickin' voice!! ;D
I always listen to the jambands station on the netscape radio. They play TONS of music from last year's Bonnaroo. Right now they are playing Ten Ton Chicken.
I bought Dylan Live 1964 on Saturday and I can't get enough. I was waiting for someone to talk about this album because it is just so great. My favorite tracks have to be "The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll" and "It's All Right, Ma". However, the whole album is incredible and very funny. Dylan's giggling is really rare, considering when I saw him in Newport at the Folk Festival in 2002, he barely said a few words the entire night.

i cant believe you saw him at newport in 02 i have a bootleg of it and its a damn good set. on live 64 when he introduces gates of eden as a sacriligeous ballad in d minor its hillarious. also at the end of gates of eden when he says this is halloween and i have my bob dylan mask on. i saw him at his three shows recently at the state in detroit and he did not say much buit introduce the band. except on tuesday he appeared a little drunk and was laughing but you could not hear what he was saying. also someone sent me an advance copy of the new wilco record. its great.
Holy crap! I would kill for a bootleg of that show! It was the perfect setting for a Dylan show. The sun was beginning to set over the water and he came to go right into Roving Gambler. How were you able to get a copy of it? I will pay you for a copy. Perhaps mail it to me or we can meet up at Bonnaroo if you'd like--whatever you're down with. Until I read your post a minute ago, I had no idea there was even a bootleg in circulation. But seriously, e-mail me at VIPER5GMT@aol.com or just post on here if there is any way at all I can get a copy.
Alternating between the new Primus EP - Animals Should Not Try To Act Like People , and the new (only?) Particle album - Launchpad. Particle reminds me a lot of Ozric Tentacles, an Engligh band from the mid-late 90s playing instrumental trip-jams.
