:: THE ROAD TO BONNAROO - Memorial Day Radio Special ::
Once again, we'll be getting you pumped and primed for the Bonnaroo Music Festival with our annual syndicated radio preview, "The Road To Bonnaroo," hosted by the inimitable Rita Houston from New York's WFUV-FM. This year's program will feature great music, including rare and exclusive tracks from Radiohead, Ben Folds. Dr. John, Cat Power, Elvis Costello, and others. You'll also hear an interview with members of the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, who'll clue you in on some of the zany insanity they have planned for Bonnaroo this year. You can hear "The Road to Bonnaroo" on stations across the country. Check the list below for the full station listing. We'll also be broadcasting "The Road To Bonnaroo" on our own Radio Bonnaroo Internet broadcast beginning Tuesday, May 30.

What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
Man the West Coast gets no love. The farthest west is Spokane ID, which is just silly because Spokane is in WA. Oh well I guess I'll have to catch it on the net.
Is that list on the site?! How in the fu*k did I miss that monstrosity!?
Anyway, looks like I'll be streaming it from one of those stations that can accomodate me. There are like 5 stations in Colorado handling it, but I don't see one that could be picked up from Denver...

Just click on the "Radio Bonnaroo, Road to bonnaroo, memorial day radio special" image in the center at the bottom, it rotates with the ecard contest image, so make sure that the right image is showing before you click it.

Well it looks like it's on track -- they've been playing Phish, Ben Harper, The Roots, Mike Doughty, and other Roo related artists -- so I'm guessing that the Roo special should hit as scheduled. I've made myself a straight gin martini (out of olives and brine...uh oh) and jacked the laptop into the stereo. Going to go sit on the patio and listen up.
Definitely a fun little special -- just too short! Still, for what's essentially a "promo spot" for the festival, I guess I should be thankful. The Dr. John song was indeed a treat! It helped make the argument for his late night act a little stronger. Oh well, I've since popped on Radio Bonnaroo and am enjoying! ;D
So...Radio Bonnaroo is much better than I remembered.
I'm a wreck right now, but it's covering all the bases -- Sigur Ros, Bonnie Prince Billy, Massive Attack, Umphreys McGee, Gomez, Magic Numbers, The Roots, Signal Path, Radiohead, Public Enemy, Yes, etc., etc., etc., -- great.

I feel the lack of love as well... not 1 damn station in this great state.... thank god Al Gore invented the internet....... lol
