I think i read that they only have Radiohead and Tom Petty as headliners. If thats the case i can only hope that its radiohead who gets two sets, thatd be another dream come true.
Wouldn't Radiohead be the Sunday night, Petty the Saturday night, and Beck for Friday? Or would Beck do a late night or pre-headline set?
I have a feeling that there are going to be alot more hip-hop and electronic acts added, or bands that will be able to do the late night sets, because from what I see so far there are not many "late-night" type bands.

How would Radiohead fill two three hour sets?
After being bored to tears during 'Panics Sunday night set last year, I really hope they don't allow the same band to headline two nights ever again. You can't close on a high if you're seeing the same thing you saw the night before.

What about Beck? I count him as the 3rd headliner. Phil Lesh makes since to close the show. I think Beck could get a midnight set like Trey did last year. Beck could put on a killer late night set bustin out some odelay.
I agree about not wanting a double set from anyone. Thou Radiohead could probably fill 2 three hour sets with all the material they have. They could slow some things down and really have fun with it.

I have a strong feeling beck will have treys spot from last year, because hes not a headliner, and hes listed as a "night" set. I think he could do well in trey's spot.

I just watched a radiohead concert on showtime, and wow. I already saw clips of them live, but watching the whole concert just showed how good of musicians they really are, and how inovative. If i wasnt convinced before that radiohead would be the highlight of my weekend i sure am now. This is a nice change from last year when i didnt really catch any of the headlining sets, and this year radiohead and phil are prolly my top two shows to catch, while petty is sure to entertain me as well.

Unfortunatly it wasnt on demand, it was at some festival i believe, and i think it was tapped in 2004. It was on some random showtime chanel, il post it next time i see it on if it ever is, i caught it about 20 minutes in. For the last song they did karma police and thom finished the song by himself just singing, it was very cool and it looked like they really kept the audience in it throughout the show.
That Radiohead concert on Showtime was the Eurokeens festival (in France) 2003. I actually taped it because they played it so much. If you have Showtime, just keep an eye out for it; though I can't remember which Showtime channel airs it. But, they've played it pretty often in the last few months. And yes, I STILL get chills everytime I watch it! It's just mesmerizing. I can't WAIT until June. . .
