i think its a good amount of hip-hop, i don't want to see more tohugh. i enjoy hip-hop i like blackalicious, the streets, cannibal ox, jedi mind tricks
Brother Ali's Shadows on the Sun is awesome. Couldn't stop listening to it last summer. He is touring with Atmosphere this spring but it doesn't look like he'll be at roo.
I've seen Atmosphere a couple of times and his shows have been great. Looking forward to seeing him again at roo (and at Coachella next weekend!)
ive seen Atmos live a few times. let me just tell you, if you think your pumped now, wait til the show kicks off. he explodes on the stage. Slug does not slack on the energy or raw emotion at his live performances.
and if his Bonnaroo show is anything like his regular concerts, we should have an equal number of male and female fans. more females than you would normally see at a hiphop show. which is undoubtedly a very good thing. females swoon over Slug.
and Brother Ali is the man. he is passionate as hell with a mesmorizing stage presence. class act for sure.
and to answer your original question, personally, i feel GREAT about the hiphop at the roo.
