Yet another vote for Pearl Jam. I sent an e-mail to the Ten Club (official fan club) and asked if they were going to be playing at Bonnaroo, or if they had even been asked. Their reply was:
"Sorry, nothing can be confirmed at this time."
Maybe I'm an optimist, but it sounds like it is a definite possibility that PJ will be added. If they weren't going to play it, the response simply would have been "no". Instead, they basically said that it hasn't been confirmed YET. If I had to guess, I would say they would be included in the next round of annoucements.

Then again, like I said, I'm an optimist
I just received a similar pm over at the RM Board. ;D
Dont know if this has been talked about, but pitchfork ran a story that Sonic Youth will open for Pearl Jam on the final half of their tour. There is no dates between june 03 and 23rd. I don't see how they WONT do roo.

how about a Tribe reunion?, does anyone know the last time they played together? They are my favorite hip hop act (aside from the roots) and i would love to get the chance to see them. although i would not be dissappointed if there were no more hip hop added, i think there is enough.
If i can fit into some ruby slippers, click my heels three times, and wish reeeaaallllyyy hard will Ben Harper and String Cheese sign? oh please let them sign

Chris Berry and Panjea just announced a bunch of dates with Micheal Kang from Cheese.... I saw Berry and Panjea jam w/ the guys from string cheese at an aftershow in wilkes-barre and I definitely suggest checking these guys out if they come near you... plus it would mean seeing kang in a small venue.
I'm also thinking that maybe Cheese might be a stretch for ROO in terms of fitting them in a solid slot that they are worthy of, i.e. late night or right before headliner... it may mean that Roo could add Chris Berry and Panjea w/ Kang, and Zilla w/ Micheal Travis as some small tent acts that would attract a good sized crowd...
right on, have you seen info on them w/mmj this summer? just trying to verify what i saw somewhere...
You're right, MMJ is opening of them on their first leg (May 3 - June 3). Second leg (June 23 - end of July) will be Bob Pollard, Sonic Youth, and co-headlining w/ Tom etty.

update on String Cheese.... no Cheese at least on Friday... Kang's gonna be in Rochester w/ Chris Berry and Panjea.... btw that's a sweet show for anyone that likes reggae/cheese/funk... they're playing mostly small venues on the tour too
World Party's being added next round. I expect at least one more leak before the announcement as that seems to be the general pattern.
to be honest, i'd like to see willie or david gilmour get added. i could use a chill solo set that lends itself the promise of one more great musician in the superjam. otherwise, i'll just have to get my rest in the comedy tent.

to keep this post relavent: i still think greyboy allstars should be added
