I've been a little lazy in keeping this up to date. Added Be Your Own Pet and moved Elvis.
Just waiting for the real deal at this point. I'm guessing we get it on Thursday the 18th.
The Elvis Costello and Mike Gordon moves from Fri. to Sat. actually support my theory that Oysterhead was originally scheduled for late night Saturday, but had to be moved to Friday when Trey got the Petty supporting date.

This may be nothing, but...
at jambase, www.jambase.com/festivals/bonnaroo used to bring you to last year's BonnarooBase (the schedule grid). When you put it in now, it redirects you to the "12" webpage, which in turn redirects you to the homepage. I'm taking this to mean that this is definitely where the schedule pops up first, and that it might be shortly, since it certainly seems as if they're getting all their ducks in a row, so to speak.
Last year jambase released the schedule too early.....WOOOPS! I posted the link here, I'm sure alot of people printed that sucker out. I then contacted AC, since I worked right down the street from them, and they said it should not have been released......minutes later it was no longer on jambase........it really threw alot of people for a loop cause it was a rough draft and they made alot of changes before the REAL one was released....Crazy!

The Lips are flying back inbetween. They'll also do Wakarusa.
Still a good chance Pearl Jam will play too, I would wait with the announcement too if my own headlining tour ain't sold out yet.

I think with 78 artist, not counting cafe acts (120), I'm guessing we get the schedule before we get more artist additions. Fine with me!! No way can we see all the great bands already announced as it is. According to the post in schedulogy--My Roo looks pretty heady as it is!
Bring on the schedule, and lets start planning for Real!!!
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
i've always thought trey band was a good possibility. 1st, dumpstaphunk was on the initial announcement. 2nd, oysterhead was announced. 3rd, trey band is announced to open for petty and in the middle of that segment of the tour is a stop at the roo where petty, trey's rhythm section and trey himself are already known to play. the kicker was when they announced trey's keyboardist's band, vorcza, at the cafe stage...you put that all together, and you have all of trey band's core members playing at the festival.
pollstar still has dumpstaphunk playing on sat though, and i'm sure the petty tour is playing st louis that night...i'm hoping trey comes back on sunday to play with phil and friends to close out the fest. after sat, i don't think the petty tour plays again until that mon or tues...hmmm...phil + sco + trey would be a freakin mind scramble!
From the DBT website - not on bonnaroo.com yet though
We're pleased to announce that Donna the Buffalo has been invited back to appear at the country's premier music festival, Bonnaroo. The event takes place June 10-12 in Manchester, TN. Visit www.bonnaroo.com for more information.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I am pretty sure that piece of news is from last year (Roo 05 was June 10th - 12th).

I put this in the other thread, but Dumpstaphunk's rhythm section = Trey's rhythm section. Trey's opening for Petty in St. Louis on Saturday. SO either Tony & Ray come back to 'roo after opening for Petty, or this is Friday. Either is totally possible, but it's worth a few thousand hours of speculation (until the sched comes out).
Is there any possibility of Trey going to St. Louis with a different rhythm section? To me that seems an easier solution than all these people who have confirmed for Saturday moving to Friday, or even somehow flying from St. Louis back to Nashville and maybe arriving just in time for a late night performance. But as you said future, we're all speculating, we'll have to wait and see...
oh my god, I couldn't handle the Night Tripper and Oysterhead and Umph/Bisco playing at the same time, I think my head would explode from indecisivness.

Why are people so convinced Dr. John won't be friday? We've got no confirmation that Oysterhead is a late night show, and with Elvis Costello being confirmed for Saturday, no real name to fit in front of Tom Petty on the main stage. I think it's pretty likely that Oysterhead "opens" for Petty, and you get Dr. John late night, opposite McBisco and MMJ. This way Trey and his whole band can hit the road to tour with Petty the next day.
Plus, with the amount of crowds they have, they've got to put several "must see" acts on at night - otherwise one tent would get overcrowded. I think a Friday late night schedule of Umph/Bisco in This Tent, MMJ in That Tent, and Dr. John in Another Tent would work out fine.
i do have to agree that it seems like oysterhead may be a daytime show i think it makes more sense for dr john to play friday. dosent roo usually do alot of mardi gras stuff on friday? that saturday petty/trey show is f'in things up. roo weekend should be that and only that! oh well if we get trey to come out wit petty fo last dance with mary jane i will atleast be content if they jet for the rest of the weekend

i'm not missing Oysterhead no matter what! no matter who is playing at the same time. Ohead is whole reason i'm even going to Roo. i want Stewart Copeland to hit me with a drum stick. Yeah, that would be soo cool!! LOL
OK, I added Common to Friday (I was really expecting him to be Sunday) from the EW article. Hopefully I'll be unsticky-ing this thread soon so we can pour over the actual schedule.
