haha I was just about to post about sidewalk surfer sanuk's~ I was really interested in getting a pair also. I was figuring if I got a pair of cheap sandals, Crocks, Sanuk's, and wellies I should be totally set for Roo....right??
**** Also does anyone have experience with a bigger version of camelbaks. The one I want is more of a regular sized back pack. Will that be a pain to carry around all day?

I bought some $17 regular sized camelbaks for last year. They held I think 2 liters of liquid and had all kind of pockets to put stuff.
I filled mine up about halfway and had my stuff in the pockets. After a few hours, I took it back to my car and ditched it because it was just too cumbersome in the heat. I might try it again this year but I really didn't like using it last year.

so i normally wear a 8.5, i am thinking of ordering a 9 but i am worried it will be to wide. you should be fine with all those shoes! i have brought a camelbak for the past two years, its 2 liters. its one that is cut for females and its pretty comfortable. with all my stuff it in its kinda heavy. but as you drink it gets lighter. my boy friend has one that is 3 liters and it is heavy!! i don't think i could carry it around with stuff in it.
just catching up w/ the girly thread...and i saw these. has anyone tried them yet?? they remind me of that awesome machine that leilou dallas had on the 5th element. the one that she just held up to her eyes and it applied stunning eye make-up! after i saw that i've been wishing someone would invent one of those. ;D
these look weird, and i can't see how they would work. but i could be wrong! it seems too good to be true.
btw--the lady who invented them looks absolutely creepy!!

here is the one i have
i have the same one and had no problems carrying it around, found it to be the perfect amount of water and that it had the perfect amount of storage for everything i needed throughout the day
yay im happpy we're talking about camelbaks. I can't wait to get mine. I think it's going to be one of my bigger purchases for this festival season. I don't want anything too huge, but big enough to put in a few essentials. I'm still shopping around

me too. i'm definitely bringing a camelback, one of the smaller ones. i was even thinking of getting a kids one, i hate the thought of carrying around something in the heat. but i drink like a camel so.. i dont know.
i have a feeling i'm going to be the most prepared out of my group.

hey girls-
i'm the one who suggested buying those sanuks from Sierra. I saw the reviews on the website that they weren't that comfy but I disagree. I obviously haven't been able to wear them out too much because I live in crappy Michigan, but I have been wearing them around the house with no problems. I'm pretty tall so I have some big ol' feet haha and I ordered true to size and they fit just fine. In fact, they're a little big ,but not TOO big. I'd try em', wear em' around your place and send them back if they don't work out, it's worth it!
question about the camelbaks for those of you who have them....
do you have a womens version or just the regular kind? I'm thinking of getting a womens camelbak because they are supposed to fit to your curves and are a little smaller but i dont know if it really makes that much of a difference.

i like the womens cut better because the straps curve around your chest when you have the front buckled. i would be careful getting a kids one it may be uncomfortable. you can always goto the nearest camping store and just try them on!

wow. i never saw those before. how accurate can they be when everyone's eyes are different shapes/sizes?
